Visit the Baracks across Nigeria, see for yourself what I mean. Overflowing soakaways, leaking pipes, caved in ceilings etc. If U have no GodFather, U may spend 30years in Service without promotion or salary rising above N75k regardless of your education. #EndSARS #ReformPoliceNG

When professional exams or courses are taken, the results is often annulled should it have more southerners qualifying above their northern counterparts even at that names of the highly connected are prioritized for promotions before the good eggs. #EndSARS #ReformPoliceNG

Take a brief look at most of those used to quell peaceful protests in Abuja. They’re homeless & probably brainwashed with promise of a better life if their jobs are done with alacrity & precision. This advocacy is for all victims of a corrupt system. #EndSARS #ReformPoliceNG

Promotion in our institutions especially @PoliceNG is strictly by connection and riddled with ethnic bias. There is no seniority or any form of order. An illiterate rookie can be miraculously made a CP with no questions asked provided he is well linked. #EndSARS #ReformPoliceNG

One of the Officers I spoke with in the East told of the hardship within the system. This is a graduate by the way being paid less than N50k after sundry deductions. He said my Dog can’t survive in their residence at the Baracks. #EndSARS #ReformPoliceNG

Kindly tell me how these men will ever wish us well seeing our sons using a N300k iPhone? Think of this beyond justifying their action. They have no other hope in their future on that job yet they gave them guns to roam the streets. 🤔 #EndSARS #ReformPoliceNG

Can these policemen ever protest their situation? I doubt. It is a regimented system and they have to make ends meet somehow. To worsen the situation, many have become guns for hire and have lost connection with reality. Something must be done URGENTLY. #EndSARS #ReformPoliceNG

The only thing worse than sending our soldiers to die in wars based on lies is leaving them broke, homeless, jobless, and suffering from mental disorders while serving and eventually when they are lucky to return home alive. Same applies to serving Policemen on next to nothing.

Many of the soldiers are currently fully dependent on friends and family for aid both for self and their immediate family while the Police officers help themselves by hounding and extorting innocent citizens. #RealCorruption #EndSARS #ReformPoliceNG
