adjoining district of Beed, another perennially water scarce area.... Just SIX tankers supplying water
These were districts which had 100's of tankers supplying water under UPA's 15 years....
The Flagship water conservation and restoration program of @Dev_Fadnavis 's @BJP4India Govt #Jalyuktshivar is responsible for this....

The opposition and the media can present this as putting thousands of people out of work
Nearly 12000 of the 25000 water scarce villages have now turned water sufficent.

Same type of programs are now being implemented in Rajasthan, MP and UP (which I know of), and possibly other states also
Next time, when u get an opportunity to exercise your right (&duty) to vote, do remember this simple fact.... Govt's that work, need to be elected, above everything else
It is possible, that people in cities may not be able to really visualise what water scarcity means......
