In my view, teachers in West Virginia are joining a fight for the soul and spirit of West Virginia that started hundreds of years ago #55strong 2) Hundreds of years ago, investors came to West Virginia and purchased most of the land for all but nothing. Even today, you will be hard pressed to find many people in WV who own their mineral rights.
