Not being a Catholic, I chime in: Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò accuses Pope of something he’s guilty of and fails to address being essentially demoted. Why did Viganò interfere in an investigation himself? Something stinks in his accusation...
2/ Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò has a series of “controversies” that give me pause on his accusations including arranging a meeting between Pope and Kim Davis, the clerk who refused to follow the law and give out marriage license to gay couple.

As @MalcolmNance just discussed with @AliVelshi on @MSNBC : Trump ignorantly reinforced white supremacist garbage about "white genocide" in South Africa in contempt of the facts. Over 93% of the land was being held by 8% of the population due to apartheid.
Despite the predictions before the end of Apartheid, Nelson Mandela was adamant that peaceful reconciliation was the only viable path. Massive bloodshed was averted through careful and thoughtful engagement.

1/ Oh @AriMelber interviewed a fascist and the world came to an end! The reaction to this interview shows why many people are unable to effectively confront fascism. Many reactions are the very definition of ignorance.
2/ I can’t stand Bannon, Stone, and countless others but most often grin and bear it to see if they said anything that will help end their campaigns of disaster

Adm McRaven calls out Trump: "Therefore, I would consider it an honor if you would revoke my security clearance as well, so I can add my name to the list of men and women who have spoken up against your presidency." #Honor#Integrity#Dignity washingtonpost.com/opinions/revok…
Adm McRaven: "Like most Americans, I had hoped that when you became president, you would rise to the occasion and become the leader this great nation needs."

Ask yourself, why is there a deep desire for elimination of the "deep state"?
What is this "deep state"? 1. Many agencies have officials and workers who transcend partisan shifts. 2. These officials and workers represent vital #InstitutionalMemory that keeps people safe
3. These officials/workers cooperate with govt agencies and private sector to keep the fabric of our govt stable during crisis including terrorist attacks, economic meltdowns, and national disasters 4. Former presidents stay in touch with successors to share experience and wisdom

But Chris why are you calling out Tulsi Gabbard? Well, I’ll tell you:
She has taken a ridiculous conspiracy theory on that betrays her oath of office.
1. She blames the US for funding both Al Qaida and ISIS and not by claiming the Iraq war led to ISIS by circumstances. 2. Gabbard betrayal of non-terrorist Syrian forces who are now left on the battlefield between Assad and ISIS/AQ is going to have consequences because they’ve been abandoned after fighting both.

So today I posted an article about 3d printed guns and the changes that will allow people to print at will parts that will help create untraceable guns and as predicted the crowd who thought they were so crafty and smart descended to troll the post as an "anti-gun" post 1/2/ They laughed to themselves like hyenas about "our freedoms" while ignoring that the real concern isn't "law abiding citizens" but groups like ISIS who are intent on passing weapons to potential recruits and staying off grid.

Big red herring lies keep coming frim the same idiot crowd. 1. Former NSA tech director who retired from service in October 2001. His “scientific evidence “ has long since been debunked 2. The argument itself has been debunked. Post hacking transfer rates only deal with copies.
Over and over the same conspiracy folks fool themselves into ridiculous theories that hold no water. 1. The June 5, 2016 transfer date that anonymous poster “forensicator” named is well after data was exfiltrated from DNC 2. Copying these files before posting explains these dates
After the release of @Plot2Destroy by @MalcolmNance the targeted harassment of researchers by Louise Mensch and her tiny cult has begun. Not a word on the content in the book.@TwitterSupport claims targeted harassment is TOS but doesn’t act when notified.
Then to top this off she accuses a Twitter user of being being anti Semitic because of his name. #TargetedHarrassment

When dealing with @comcast@xfinity security department you'll be routed to call centers in the Dominican Republic and Costa Rica where you will be asked personal information like social sec number and even debit card numbers #Insecure
If someone attempts to breach your account, you'll be locked out and sent to one of these call centers outside the United States. This means you'll be giving your info to people hired by @comcast@xfinity but not covered by United States law if they steal your information.

While I would love to agree with the evergreen message of lawyer Jonathan Turley's message about "civility in public discourse" I'm annoyed at how his posts over the past few years fail entirely at reflecting the boiling frog issue of our times. 1/
The latest covers the confrontation of DHS secretary Kirstjen Nielsen in a Mexican restaurant. Protesters learned she was in the restaurant and descended upon her to shout "shame" over and over following her "tone deaf" response to locking up children separated from families. 2/

Twas the night before Christmas, when through the White House
Not a Kushner was resting, not even his spouse;
The documents were hung by the shredder with care,
In fears that Bob Mueller soon would be there; 1/14
The staffers were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of subpoenas danced in their heads;
And Melania in her babushka, and Trump in his cap,
Flew to Mar-a-Lago for a long winter's nap, 2/14
