Mỹ Sơn is a cluster of abandoned and partially ruined Hindu temples constructed between the 4th and the 14th century AD by the kings of Champa (South Vietnam). Temples are dedicated to God Shiva.

Islamization of this Hindu civilization happened after 15th century as their mother civilization India itself was under foreign rule. Mỹ Sơn temple complex got ruined extensively due to carpet bombing by USA during Vietnam war (1969). 
Some Champas (estimated at 50000) are still practising Hinduism. They, along with Balinese Hindus are the only surviving non-indic Hindu societies today.
