If you really want to touch the lives of Nigerians in a meaningful way you will need to do more than patch roads, share wheelbarrows and build public toilets. Empower the people by creating a sustainable platform that gives them a voice that makes them thrive. #BelieveYouCan
If you succeed at this, you won’t need to say much at your campaign/rallies but take testimonies of the people in an unscripted manner. The people become your evangelists across the country even if you are running for a local political office. #Think
Political Campaign will remain very expensive because of the adherence to primitivism. Our world has changed and trust is the new currency. You can’t buy a good name for its price is far above rubies. Let us raise the bar and sanitize our sociopolitical clime. #NoToLifeless

I cling to nothing and I stand to lose nothing. ⛱
Think about this for the night Distinguished. If wealth is the secret to happiness, then the rich should be dancing on the streets. But only poor kids do that.
If power ensures security, then Government officials and the ruling class should walk unguarded. But those who live simply, sleep soundly.

Convenience is killing us faster than the utility it brings. As my late mother often say, we mostly love what is not good for us because of our fear of the unknown. Even if we choose to educate, the world as conditioned for ease will reject it if it is not convenient.
We are stuck on our phones. Face to face conversation is dying. Interactions are switching to the virtual world. People would rather send you a message than speak to you. It is true convenience sells. This is why we buy luxuries even though the standard works still.
Convenience has been a dominant driver of culture since the 60s as reiterated by several authors. People wake up daily with the intention of exchanging something for more convenience. The idea birthed home deliveries, remote control and online stores.

At the time of Obatala, three people came to him dragging a young man with them and said to him: Babalawo, aboru boyè! This man has murdered our father

Obatala: Why did you kill their father? 🤔
Young man: I'm a goatherd. My goat ate from their father's farm, and he threw a stone at my goat and he died, so I also took the stone and threw it at their father and he also died.

Obatala: Because of this, I pass judgment on your charge of murder by sentencing you to death.
Young man: I ask for 3 days before you execute the judgment. My late father left me some wealth and I have a sister to take care of. If you kill me now, the wealth and my sister will have no guardian.

Obatala: Who will stand for your bail?

The vicious cycle of elect and regret is symptomatic of our political illiteracy. The burgeoning identity politics of hate championed by psychopaths, who always see themselves as victims, no matter how horribly they’ve treated others, is evident & calls for concern.
This you can tell when nothing is ever their fault- they’ll always claim to have been wronged in one way or another. To them, the problem is not their lying, blackmail, hate, stealing & abuse. The problem is that you started to notice all of those things.
They wonder why you couldn’t just remain happy in chains like others in the idealization phase. How dare you betray them by standing up for yourself? Encounters with these people are like drowning in a black hole. No matter how much they hurt you, it’ll still be your fault.
