Agents LIE to the families, including the children. They are told that kids are taken away BRIEFLY, for questioning or to be given baths (which sounds ominously like a Nazi Shower in Auschwitz).

Parents are given flyers with phone numbers to call to locate their children after they were placed with ORR.

I benefitted from free lunch and Pell grants, and I know how important our safety net is. I also value hard work: we began the campaign when my husband held two part time jobs while searching for a position, and I taught summer camp all day and hit the trail at night./2
It's time we had Representatives who truly understood what it is like out here in the real world, who value compassion, common sense, and decency. It's time for more mothers, and I plan to #fightlikeamother on behalf of the entirety of #GA10. /fin#
