नेहाभिक्रमनाशोऽस्ति प्रत्यवायो न विद्यते ।
स्वल्पमप्यस्य धर्मस्य त्रायते महतो भयात् ।।
nehābhikramanāśo'sti pratyavāyo na vidyate ।
svalpamapyasya dharmasya trāyate mahato bhayāt ।।

इह - this karma-yoga, अभिक्रम - beginning, नाश: - destruction, नास्ति - not so, प्रत्यवाय: - Sins of leaving it half-way, न विद्यते - doesn’t accrue, अस्य - this, धर्मस्य - dharma, स्वल्पं अपि - even if small, महतो भयात् - the big fear of samsara, त्रायते - will protect

कुलक्षये प्रणश्यन्ति कुलधर्माः सनातनाः ।
धर्मे नष्टे कुलं कृत्स्नमधर्मोऽभिभवत्युत ।।
kulakShaye praNashyanti kuladharmAH sanAtanAH |
dharme naShTe kulaM kRRitsnamadharmo.abhibhavatyuta ||
कुलक्षये प्रणश्यन्ति कुलधर्माः सनातनाः ।
धर्मे नष्टे कुलं कृत्स्नमधर्मोऽभिभवत्युत ।।

कुलक्षये - when kula is destroyed, सनातनाः - continuance from ancient times, कुलधर्माः - kula dharmas, प्रणश्यन्ति - get destroyed, धर्मे - dharma, नष्टे - if weakened, अधर्म: - adharma, कुलं कृत्स्नं उत - whole of kula, अभिभवति - envelops

When kula is destroyed, the wise men responsible for propagating kula-dharma won't be available. Aa a result, kula-dharmas are destroyed & severed from their ancient past. When dharma is weakened, adharma envelops the whole of that kula
