It is a mental INJURY, not an illness. It is the most severe form of PTSD. In some cases, dissociation can occur naturally/organically in response to severe trauma. However, the Tertiary Structural kind is not organic but deliberate, organized, & used by others to CONTROL victim.
It is only ever the result of ONGOING, CHRONIC, SEVERE, TORTUROUS sexual, mental, physical, spiritual, and social ABUSE BY CLOSE CAREGIVERS IN EARLY CHILDHOOD prior to the age of 8
