Let’s talk about something that I’ve been pondering lately as it applies to my own life. I’m gonna call it the butterfly effect, even though it should probably be called the cocoon effect.

When it’s time for you to level up, people may fall away from you.

I think a lot of us get too salty when our “day ones” or our “ride or dies” aren’t with us for the most significant transformations in our lives. Sure you’d like for those people to witness the growth in real time, but that simply can’t be the case for significant transformations
Nobody gets inside of the cocoon with the caterpillar. It’s just the caterpillar and an innate knowing that solitude is necessary to bloom.

I think we’re too hasty to look at people leaving us as a bad thing.

We grow much faster without distractions.

What if I told you that your distance from common sense and nature is affecting your success?

Would you believe me?

This is most apparent in our interpretation of seasons.

Your lack of seasonal knowledge is destroying your productivity.

We are supposed to be working with the earth. Not against it. Seasons are set up so that we know how we are supposed to invest our energy.

However, these dumbass holidays have our seasonal knowledge fucked all the way up.

Example: New Years.
Riddle me this: how the fuck is winter the new year when everything outside is dead????

New year marks new beginnings, new energy, new possibilities.

What the fuck is possible when the days are the shortest and there’s less sun energy to power you???

When you have to consider leaving your PhD off your resume just to find a job, there’s a serious problem with the status of education and what it offers in this country.

Impromptu thread time with the curse of overeducation.

#tjto10k
I was unemployed for 7 months after I graduated and even then I had to put 2 adjunct positions together to make a somewhat acceptable salary. I remember people telling me that I had a PhD so it shouldn’t be that hard to find a job.

Me:
You would think that it’s not that hard to find a job with a PhD, but I’m here to tell you that it is especially if you want to break into industry as a STEM major.

Lemme let you in on a dirty little secret. STEM PhDs are actually not that great to get to be honest.

Since today deals with a story of fertility, let’s talk about one of the most fertile areas on the planet, your subconscious mind.

Thread time.

#tjto10k
Your subconscious mind is the most sought after piece of real estate on the planet. The people that know the power of the subsconscious mind make a daily effort to program it with the things that they want you to think about. This is done via many different forms of media.
1. Television programming: television programming is typically auditory and visual stimulation, which attacks 2 gates on your body, the eyes and the ears. If the eyes are the windows to the soul, television programming must also be programming the soul too right?

Thread time. Lets talk about my friend glyphosate. #tjto10k
Glyphosate is arguably one of the worst organic compounds to ever have been invented for profit purposes. Glyphosate is an organophosphorus compound, meaning it contains carbon and phosphorus which isn’t rare, but it’s not super common either.
It’s also an acidic compound that has 3 acidic hydrogen’s (protons) so off rip, where glyphosate is present, it’s making the medium. More acidic. Soil needs a proper balance of basicity and acidity depending on what’s being grown.

Glyphosate is the active ingredient in Round up

Fear is something that often keeps us from living our best lives. Fear can be a defense mechanism to save your life or it can be one of the biggest hinderances to truly living.

Thread time

#tjto10k
Fear is not always a bad thing. For example. When you’re on a mountaintop, you’re scared to get close to the edge because you might fall and die. That’s self preservation. Completely rational to be fearful there.
However, some people are scared of dumb shit. “What if they don’t like me?” “What if I get rejected?” “What if I get laughed at?” “What if I don’t get this right?”

Beloved. Who gives a fuck?

The victim hood mindset is the biggest deterrent to your success and it will destroy all of your meaningful relationships.

Thread time. #tjto10k
A victimhood, woe is me mindset is extremely destructive to the can do spirit that you possess. The fact of the matter is that nobody is born with a victimhood mindset. We are born with a mentality of success and obsession with it. Don’t believe me? Consider this.
When you put a baby in a play pen or some kind of enclosure, the baby will naturally explore ways to get out. Let’s say toddlers specifically. Toddlers will stack toys, climb, and push their way around obstacles that impede their freedom. This is instinctual.

Let’s talk about brain retraining and just how negative the average person is. #Tjto10K
Off rip, humans are negative as fuck. That’s mostly because we are creatures of habit. Whatever we did the day before, we tend to do it the next day and the next creating a pattern.

Sounds like you doesn’t it? Of course it does. Let’s go further.
“We humans, it seems, have anywhere from 12,000 to 60,000 thoughts per day. 98% are the same thoughts we had the day before. 80% are negative.” Jennifer Read Hawthorne

Fam. The average person has tens of thousands of negative thoughts a day. Just mad as hell as a habit.
