(1) #TeamTrump #PhotoThread: Visit to Europe July 2018 - Part IV.

Tea with HM the Queen at Windsor Castle.

(2) I found a lot of photos from this event with the Queen smiling or laughing with POTUS and FLOTUS. The pics are not always the best technical quality & later on I may do a fresh thread with better pics. For now, the key message is: This 92 year old really, really likes Trump.

(3) I've been observing the Queen's body language in public for decades, and she rarely shows this much emotion... the Trumps "click" with her, which will be driving a few people even more insane today than they were already. Lulz.

(4) It began with the Queen waiting for the couple to arrive. If the timing was off, that's not the fault of POTUS, it reflects poor communication between his people and her people. They should have waited before indicating she should walk to the dias.

(5) The moment arrived.

(6) So happy to meet at last.

(7) Pic 1: Gives the impression the Admiral was trying to protect the Queen.
Pic 2: Shows he was giving a salute to POTUS.
Pic 3: Shows he was well in the background.

It is so easy to lie with camera angles and timing.

(8) Watching the parade. Note that these photos only show a small part of the castle complex. It is a truly impressive place.

(9) This has been photographed from a different angle and circulated as if she was cringing about POTUS... in fact they are both laughing about something they were just talking about, and he's working overtime to suppress it. She usually does that... but is having too much fun.

(10) This minor misunderstanding about which side to walk on was painted as a "breach of protocol!" by POTUS. Look, it happens. It was nothing. Anyway, the photos from it are going to make excellent memes.

(11) More smiles, followed by inspecting the troops in a perfectly Presidential manner.

(12) Like the Queen, POTUS is a military history buff, and has immense respect for the troops, especially as the Commander in Chief.

(13) More chatting and laughing with each other. Sorry for going on about it, but I haven't seen much coverage of this aspect of the visit in the MSM.

(14) The Great Conversationalist.

(15) I bet the Duke of Edinburgh was annoyed to have missed this part of the visit to Windsor. If he was home at the castle at the time, I think he would have quietly joined them for tea. At 97 he's not able to commit to attending public events like in the past.

(16) See that little splash of pink in the corner of the photo? That's the outfit worn by one of the Queen's Ladies in Waiting, who are her BFFs from way back. They are super witty like she is. You can see her in the next photo.

(17) The royal courtiers and WH staffers waiting in the wings probably saw whatever it was that the three were laughing at, or something. A very warm welcome all round.

(18) In the castle's state rooms (that the public can tour when open), staffers waited while POTUS & FLOTUS had tea with the Queen (& probably the Duke) in the private apartments. Dan Scavino posted on FB: "Sarah & I with the Governor of Windsor Castle, Adm. Sir James Perowne."

(19) And here is the official photo to record the private meeting POTUS & FLOTUS had with the Queen. Apparently HM was so enthralled, they were there for twice as long as intended. I hope they can return soon to spend more time with her & hopefully the Duke, too. #Blessed
