100. @officialtaras Taras Lanchev - An absolute startup champion who has overseen Startup Weekend in Leeds, exited his cryto tee shirt business Cryto Daddy and is now working on a meeting scheduling app called Focus.
99. @GlobalDigitalWK Global Digital Week's James Munn. Former president of Leeds @UniversityLeeds Enterprise Society, James helps out by mentoring at events such as Startup Weekend, has exited his own startups and gets involved in superb initiatives such as the current Pitch Pot.
98. @StuartClarkeUK. Stuart is Director of @LeedsDigiFest and has a nose for sniffing out talented startups - he's the NED of several of them including @SigninStudent and @jigtalk_. Is also said to attend an event or two.
97. John Connolly (@jfconno) is the MD of @C4Dihull, the beating heart of digital and tech in the City of Culture. Along with a team of experienced mentors that includes Chairman @DaveJKeel, he's helping get startups off the ground, connecting them with local industry players.
96. Mel Kanarek (@melkanarek) and Chris Dymond (@chrisdymond) from @SHFDigital. They have dedicated an incredible amount of time and effort to help grow and support #Sheffield's tech/startup sector. They have added key members in the past three years & grown Slack to 1k+ users.

66. Lewis Foster (@lewisfoster) - below - and Matt Russell together built Leeds-based @themusicvine. The startup, which helps producers get hold of royalty-free music for film and video, now hosts 2,051 tracks and is used by 145 world-class artists.
65. Fran Parkinson - @LeedsUBC @franparkinson1 heads up university business operations for @leedsbeckett. Fran introduced me to the super #Leeds Digital Hub on Whitehall Road and also oversees the uni's other two hubs, @HalifaxUBC and @WakefieldUBC.

52. Gareth Everson (@garetheverson) and Lucy Whittington from @connectably. Power duo Gareth and Lucy combine expertise in CRM systems with decades of experience in B2B marketing. They're on a mission to help businesses join up their disconnected and disparate online systems.
51. Tanja Litchensteiger. @grappleshark is a well-networked champion of diversity in tech. Earlier this year Tanja won the prestigious Team Leader award at the 2018 FDM everywomen in Tech Awards, and her efforts did not go unnoticed by @SkyBet who promptly secured her services!

46. Robyn Vinter (@RobynVinter). Eschewing the false economy benefits of London in favour of fairer Yorkshire, Robyn has been exemplary in showing how to run a media operation from scratch in the North. Featuring stellar writing, @theovertake is the ideal antidote to today's BS.
45. Charlotte Scott (@AnxEntrepreneur). Charlotte's talents include speaking multiple languages and marketing, to name a few. The entrepreneur worked on @LeedsDigiFest & just this week launched her startup motivatee.com, which aims to change the world one tee at a time.
44. Medical professional, NED and investor Dr. David Pearce is CEO of Leeds-based Nephos Solutions (@NephosLtd). He has invested in several Yorkshire-based startups including @ViCardioBP and two @TechNation Northern Stars 2017 pitch competition winners.

39. Sarah Agar-Brennan (@Lovebombcushion). The only founder to come into my coworking space and start kicking around cushions, Sarah's personality shines through her colourful, fun and modern plush toys ecommerce business. Yes: the same one that was on Dragons' Den last year!
38. Louise Atkinson. The @CuratorSpace cofounder has overseen the growth of her project management toolkit. It aims to make life easier for curators, organisers, galleries and artists by letting them create open calls to quickly invite people to submit ideas, projects & art work.
37. Jim Farmery (@jimf58a). Jim was proactive and happy to assist me when I needed to find out more about #Wakefield's tech scene and visit its companies. He was at Wakefield Council back then and has now moved over to @creativeengland where he's continuing to benefit the sector.
36. Jamie Sefton (@Seffers007). There's no bigger champion of gaming (of the video variety - put your poker chips away!) in the North than @gamerepublic and @Ga_Ma_Yo MD Jamie. My one regret is that I haven't written a feature on Northern gaming yet - it WILL happen!
35. Jane Tyler (@Jane_RedBlack). Jane is CEO at #York-based RedBlack Software (@RedBlack_SW), a company she started in 1998. RedBlack develops software for bakeries and counts Marks & Spencer among its clients. Jane is also a @TechNation #NorthernVoices alumni.
34. Sat Mann. Meals on (two) wheels! As Leeds-based @leanlunchuk, Sat and his team have been responsible for cooking up delicious and nutritious meals, ordered via the company's online platform, and delivering them to SMEs and corporates in the city.
33. Becky Boyd (@beckyboydgeek). Becky has been saving startups in Yorkshire (and beyond!) from making marketing missteps since 2015. She was the first person in the world to be trained for Google's Digital Garage initiative and continues to pass on her knowledge today.

26. Peer-to-peer lending software guru @danrajkumar is one of Yorkshire's rising #fintech and startup stars. Exciting developments are abound for his company @rebuildings, and he's also helping spread positive vibes in the sector through championing body @fintechnorth.
25. Simon Palmer (@SimonPalmer_ACA). One of the few professional services bods on my list, Simon from @Garbutt_Elliott *gets* tech and entrepreneurship. His enthusiasm is such that events in Leeds wouldn't be the same without him! 💿
24. Owen Williams (@doodleme_uk). Along with Ash Wesley and Tim Brazier (wherever he is these days), Owen puts in a shift to find @leedsdigidrinks delegates a home to slurp in on the last Friday of every month following @LeedsFuturelabs' monthly Founders' Friday meetup.

21. Achille Traore (@TopScreenMedia). Leeds-based Achille is an entrepreneur that enjoys solving the grand problems (huge analytics-driven interactive kiosks for public spaces) and obvious ones alike (e.g, refunding your train tickets or collecting money from friends and family).
20. Jimmy Forrester-Fellows (@jimmyff_uk). Jimmy leads web and mobile development studio Rocketware, which places a big focus on dating apps. Its platform Datingnode powers numerous popular dating brands that together boast over 1.5 million members worldwide.
19. Dr Vivien Badaut (@vivienbadaut). Leeds-based @driad_ltd director and founder Vivien leads his international consultancy, which offers innovative companies bespoke support in their research and development projects.
18. Wayne Smallman (@Octane). Wayne developed cloud-based research tool @theundercloud, which is back in development after hiatus. His usual gig is his long-running app-development and web business, Octane Interactive, which is based at the cracking @Barnsley_DMC space.
17. Sam Agnew. After being inspired by Eric Ries seminal book 'The Lean Startup', Sam started Yorkshire freelance portal Everyday People (@PeopleYorkshire) and has spoken at events such as #FoundersFriday by @LeedsFuturelabs.
16. Lucile Paisant. Mind It UK's @LucilePaisant founded @LeedsWellWeek and is a champion of using digital to inform people on how to better look after their own mental health and happiness.
15. Anna Sutton. @TheDataShed co-founder Anna started Leeds-based The Data Shed in 2014. The company more than doubled in size in 2017, to a headcount of 22. Its clients include Hermes, CAP and Quantas.
14. Sean Gilligan. Sean is the CEO of Leeds-based edtech company @webanywhere. With one eye always on the future, Sean and his firm's more experimental software products are geared toward voice-based team chat as we move away from text-based communication.
13. Scott Woodley. Co-founder of Sheffield's @TutorfulGB, @Scott_Tutora is the tech brains of the SaaS platform's operation and delivers a fine investment pitch to boot. The company was one of the winners of @TechNation's Northern Stars 2017 pitch competition.
12. Zandra Moore (@zandramoore). Zandra heads up Leeds-based @panintelligence, which was the 34th-fastest growing tech company in the North according to @TechNation's Northern Tech 100 League Table. The company was also on PwC's Scale accelerator this year.
11. Chris Williams (@chrischatta) and David Andrews (@Mr_Andrews). From Hull, Chris and David developed @hellochatta, which aims to improve language learning in children by linking images and voice recordings, helping them build a deeper understanding of order and sequence.
10. Shannon Harvey. Shannon is technical director at the exciting @ProductionPark_ studio based in Wakefield. The company has been pushing the envelope when it comes to helping artists create special effects for their tours, knowledge that Shannon helps pass onto young students.
9. Helen Oldham. @NorthInvestUK's @helenoldham, formerly Chief Publishing Officer at Johnston Press, is helping spearhead the new Leeds-based #angelinvestment hub NorthInvest, which is based at Platform in Leeds.
8. Gillian Arnold - @TectreLtd. Gillian chairs the EU Women in IT Taskforce for CEPIS, is on the board at @thewisecampaign and is a passionate advocate of increasing IT skills in the UK.
