2) was on the FB group Abroad for Yes which essentially is Irish (and some non Irish) people abroad who don;t have a vote sending funds to those who have to enable them to get home to #repealthe8th
3) It's a wonderful place. People y/day buying last minute flights home for hundreds and being fully funded in less than 30 mins. People chipping in what the can, we nearly broke paypal
4) late in day US time so overnight Irish time a student midwife working in Reading comes on having just heard of it. She's doing night shift so in between sending money we're all looking for flights that work for her to get to cork #repealthe8th
5) frantic searching occur and eventually I find her a flight to Dub ex Brum (cork flight timing didn't work) which she books
6) she finished her shift at 7:30am and drove to Brum via her home in Oxfordshire, and caught 12:00 flight to Dublin
7) landed and managed to get a seat on the 14:30 aircoach to cork (trains all booked). From there she'll get the #8 to wilton and her parents will pick her up (she should be on that bus now)
8) the best bit of the lot for me was when I realised from hr polling card that she was voting in @scoileoinboys . In Ballincollig. Where I'm from #repealthe8th
