So let’s talk truth for a minute. Let’s declare some truths in America that certain folks have tried to cast doubt on.
1. Bob Mueller has found crimes committed by Trump campaign and administration members. Some of them have plead guilty and are going to jail.
2. Hillary won the popular vote- against Trump and Bernie. More people voted for her.
3. The Iraq War was fought based on false premises and outright lies. Saddam was not involved in 9/11, nor did we find an active WMD program.
4. Bernie lost the Democratic nomination fairly. He got less votes, the DNC did not cheat. Full stop.
5. Vladimir Putin ordered Russian agents to interfere in the 2016 U.S. election on the behalf of Donald Trump.
6. Venezuela 🇻🇪 is a socialist state. It is a corrupt state. It is a failure. Full-scale socialism is a failure.
7. The Iran Deal was working. Iran 🇮🇷 has stopped it’s nuclear program and was complying. The money they received from us is money that was their’s, and we had froze.
8. The Steele Dossier did not cause the FBI to begin investigating the Trump-Russia scandal. Foreign intelligence was flagging the crooks before it was even written.
9. Border patrol separating children from their parents at the border began under Trump. He lost all of the 1,500 children you have read about recently.
10. Barack Obama was born in the United States, in Hawaii, and was not a Muslim (though there’s nothing wrong with that).
11. Trump had an affair with Stormy Daniels and Michael Cohen paid her $130,000 to be silent just before the 2016 Election.
12. Jane Sanders bankrupted a college she ran and is under investigation by the FBI.
13. The #GOPTaxScam caused the deficit to explode again.
14. Jill Stein is a Russian stooge.
15. Michael Flynn started the “lock her up” chant at the RNC. Michael Flynn has plead guilty to Robert Mueller and his going to jail. #LockHimUp
16. Climate change is real.
17. SpyGate is fake.
18. Sandy Hook was real. Mass shootings are real. No other country has as many as us, every year. It’s because bad people have access to guns here.
19. Assad is an evil butcher. Some of his rivals are just as bad or worse.
20. North Korea 🇰🇵 is a socialist state. It is a failed state. It is corrupt.
21. Sean Spicer lied about the inauguration.
That’s enough truth for now. It’s kind of an overload.

Ok, let’s talk about this whole Brett Kavanaugh thing, shall we? #Kavanaugh
For the most part, I stay away from making sweeping generalizations about nominees for courts. I’m biased. While I oppose them regularly, I don’t think most Conservative judges are bad people. It’s ideological differences.
For instance- I don’t agree with John Roberts on Citizens United, guns, executive power, abortion, etc. I think he’s not some evil, lying POS. #Kavanaugh
Ok, I didn’t eat breakfast 🍳 today, so I’m f***ing pissed (h/t Jason Kelce) Time to dump on the Bernouts.
1. We Democrats don’t owe Bernie, or you, anything. He’s not a Dem. He proudly says he’s not a Dem. Y’all proudly announced you were DemExiting. So do it.
2. American elections, particularly those for Congress, require that a political party not take purity oaths. If you want a party that pure, run. You’ll lose though, because America isn’t socialist.
I figure who I’m not voting for based on who Our Revolution and Justice Dems endorse.
It’s not an issues thing. I’d like to expand Medicare to everyone and cut student debt. Their issues are not the problem.
I’ve got a couple of chief problems with them though. They’re militant. They mislead their followers. They attack the party fighting for their causes. They lack any understanding of the process.
Elections are complicated things. Why someone wins or loses can have many explanations. Why someone votes for a candidate is just as complicated.
1. Democrats tend to take the lessons from elections that they want, as do Republicans. We view elections from a confirmation bias, or at least activists do. Operatives don’t get that luxury.
2. So when you assume Alabama is a way forward for races nationwide, you can be wrong. Will we run against Roy Moore nationwide? Will so many Trump voters stay home?
1. First off- the positive point for America at one year- we are still here. We’re still alive. We’re not yet at collapse. The economic progress of @BarackObama’s administration has continued so far.
2. But things are rough under the surface. The judiciary is packed with unqualified conservative hacks. We’re destroying our standing in the world. Medicare and Medicaid are under attack. Our tax code is being used to give away our treasury.
Let’s talk about “the memo” that Russian bots and Republicans are saying implicates the FBI and FISA courts in wrong doing before the election...
1. First off- if the memo is coming out of @DevinNunes and his committee, it is questionable. Nunes is highly compromised and had to “recuse” himself from the investigation.
2. @DevinNunes and his staff have no credibility. Anything they write lacks all credibility. The @HouseIntelComm has made a mockery of themselves.
