One day I got an order from "Phillip JK" & I jumped up excited!

I quickly accepted the order, processed it & headed out straight to Ikoyi to deliver the item myself. It was a printer & I'd packaged it in a leather bag & carried it on my laps all through to Lekki.

It was the last unit I had left, I hoped the proceeds would last me a while..

I alighted at my bus stop looking like a house maid, "see what hustle has done to me" I cried inside as I stopped a bike to take me to my final destination.

I climbed & as the bike rode through the muddy road we plunged into a pothole & fell!

"Wayo Allah!" The bike man wailed!

I looked to see if there were any damages but found none, he started to apologise & I told him it was fine. We got up & finally rode to the client's gate, I paid the bikeman & he left.

"Hello, I think I'm here" I said as I called "Phillip"..

Minutes later he came out & we met.

He had a stern look & just grabbed the printer

"Why is it broken here & here?" He shouted, I was shocked as I didn't notice it when I checked.

"I can't take this!" he added

"What?"

"This is damaged & I don't want!"

I knew I was in trouble, it was the only stock I had left..

I tried to manage the situation & begged him to take it & he said "unless it's for free!", I pleaded as a 'guy man' because I saw he was a young guy but he refused.

I tried to make him understand that I couldn't carry the printer back, "goodbye" he said

"Ok pay 5k"

"I can't!"

I was torn between carrying 1 printer through the traffic back home or forfeiting everything..

"Take it since you don't wanna pay" I said with regret & hoped he'll call me, I walked away & after few steps I looked back;

He had gone inside! I felt like crying but turned & left!

As I stepped out of the Estate I saw the bikeman that carried me earlier & started to shout at him, he stopped & apologised for everything after I vented to him about losing money because of him.

"Kai Oga! Dan Allah!" He apologised, I looked at him & forgave him.

"No wahala"

He then decided to carry me back for free, immediately I climbed the bike my phone rang; I looked to see who it was..

"Progress again!"

I picked..

"Guy I just made my 1st million!" He said, "Come again" I replied, "no be come again matter be this, dey come club 69 for lekki!"

He said he also just got an apartment & it got interesting, I told him I'd be there & ended the call. I looked at the time & realised it was late; going back to the mainland would be hectic so I headed towards Lekki!

"This is good news"

"Progress?"

"Millions?"

"House?"

Yaay!

I knew it was too early to club but I decided to drink away sorrows & also be happy for my guy, I joined the lekki traffic & in about an hour I arrived at the club.

It had already gotten dark so I walked in, luckily I was well dressed so I went in & immediately located Progress!

"Uchman the hitman! Upcoming Billionaire!" Progress hailed as I walked in on him sitting with 2 girls, I joined them, said hi to them & sat down.

One of the girls who identified herself as Kendra asked if I was really an upcoming billionaire & I denied it

"Don't mind him!"

Progress said, "check his social media pages" he added & they did - "ah it's true o, he's an upcoming billionaire o" the 2nd girl (Christy) said & I just laughed..

I assumed they knew Progress was joking but the next thing I heard was "I like hanging out with fellow rich people"

I looked them both in the face & they weren't joking, I realised they thought I was truly rich & had assumed it was a gathering of millionaires!

"Uncle Teddy & my dad are best friends" Kendra said

"Who is that?"

"Otedola! We call him uncle Teddy, DJ Cuppy was in my class too"

"Shit just got real" I thought, where did Progress find Otedola's relatives?" I thought again - I tried to signal Progress to get what was going on but he kept shouting "yes queen! Yes queen!"

At this point I couldn't do anything so I decided to keep quiet & watch..

"For real?"

"I even named her Cuppy.. it was the day I asked for her cup size it started" Christy said & I just nodded & agreed while they all laughed.

The club soon buzzed up & the girls ordered more drinks & smokes, I drank with them in a bid to drown my sorrows in millionaires' pool.

"Afteral Progress is now a millionaire too" I thought as I gulped another glass of Red Label, Progress was giving Christy more attention & they were all over each other so I moved to Kendra.

I turned on the A game of my mouth & brain to engage her but she gave one word replies..

I talked music, politics, sports, socio-political issues but she gave only replied like "wow" "I love wizkid" "it's God that will help us in Nigeria"

"Is she forming or she's just a woman of few words?" I asked myself, "maybe it's the topic?" I thought again so I switched topics

"So I heard Blac Chyna started dating a teenager after she left Rob" I said in a bit to switch up the convo but she just smiled, "wetin dey worry this one sef?" I thought.

"Hello"

"Oh you're here"

"Guys this is Becca"

Kendra & Christy said as they introduced this angel to us!

I said hi to her & prayed she sat near me, she smiled & calmly sat to my left.

"Oh thank God"

I turned towards her - "you smell heavenly" I said, "thanks" she replied with a British accent!

"Cheii! She's an innit babe, they must be Otedola's relatives for real" I thought!

We got talking & I forgot about Christy immediately, Becca was a calm yet engaging girl. Minutes later Progress ordered more drinks, Christy was busy laughing at Instagram videos so I totally focused on Becca.

We talked & somehow started talking as a group;

I forgot my sorrows!

"Uchman abeg show" Progress signalled when we were done drinking "u get like 50k?" He asked. I asked what happened to his millions & he said his card declined.

I had my sister's school fees in my Eco Bank account;

Since Progress was already a millionaire I gave him my atm card!

He paid & joined us on the table, I was feeling tired so I said I wanted to leave - I was expecting either Kendra or Christy to speak but they kept mute.

"I came out to party & I'm yet to have fun" Becca said, "we could go to a strip joint in lere" Progress said!

"Strip joint?"

"I think that's an awesome idea" Becca said, everybody looked at everybody & it was a go - "So it's full time groove with Otedola's relatives?" I thought

"Alright let's go" Progress the millionaire said, I braced up; we got a taxi & headed straight to Surulere

"Cheii see grove"

We got to the strip club & joined the groove, Progress was making it rain & I just enjoyed my life! It was soon time to pay bills & Progress signalled me again

"How far you still get 50k there abi?" He asked, I willingly gave him my card again & he paid..

It was soon time to go

I asked Progress if we were going to launch his new house "omo my landlord never give me house key" he replied. At this point I was becoming worried but I kept calm, he asked if I had money for hotel & I told him I had nothing left.

"But I dey go my house" I added..

"Okay"

I got a cab & we all got in, we got to my house & luckily my guest room was free & Progress immediately went there with Kendra; leaving me with the other girls.

I paid the cab & asked the girls if they'd stay at my humble house till morning;

"I can't stay here" Christy replied!

She turned to Becca & asked that they went to a hotel she saw closeby, "you can go, I'll stay" Becca replied.

"Correct babe" I thought..

Becca gave Christy her purse & she angrily left with the cab, Becca & I went straight to my room.

"Nice bedroom" she said & I thanked her!

We sat down on the bed & started to gist, there was blackout so I tried to raise the curtains & bring a drink from my fridge - Suddenly! I heard scream from the guest room

"Say my name baby!"

"Progress!"

Mekwe was going down & Kendra was literally screaming

"Progress ehn"..

Becca & I talked about a lot of things, she wanted to know the kind of guy I was & I told her about myself & what I did for a living.

"That'd impressive" she said & I thanked her, Progress' ringtone was loud so I decided to make a move on Becca & suddenly!

PHCN restored power!

"Thank God!" I said as I pulled down the curtains & turned on my window unit A.C, few minutes later Becca indicated being cold so I moved closer to her.

I gave her a duvet & she wrapped herself around it, "I thought you were with Christy" she asked & I was mute.

"She likes you"

"How?" I asked, she said Christy texted about me before she came. "So Otedola's relative likes me & she's forming?" I thought, I already liked Becca but I had to chill.

I pulled her close & cuddled her, our eyes met & there was an awkward silence before I heard a knock!

"Oohh!"

"Oboy I need fan" Progress said immediately I opened the door, he was sweating profusely so I allowed him carry the standing fan in my room & he left!

I closedd the door & went back to Becca, I wanted to ask how she was related to the other girls when I heard another knock!

"Who is this devil again?" I thought as I opened the door, I was surprised to see Christy standing there.

"Oh, hi Christy"

"Where's Becca?"

"I'm here"

"I think I want to go home now"

"That's ok, get Kendra let's leave"

Christy left & in few minutes she appeared with Kendra!

"I'm sorry Uche but we have to go, thanks for everything" Becca said, I took Christy's number & gave Becca mine when she asked..

Progress came, we got them a cab & bade them good morning as it was already 6am. I then went back inside to round up the past 24 hours on the bed..

I woke up later that day feeling better, I went out to look for Progress but he was gone. As I walked back to my room my phone started to ring, I ran to see who was calling & it was my sister

"Shit! Her school fees!" I wailed as I declined the call & quickly called Progress!

"Guy send that money to my account" I said as he picked, "Guy problem dey" he replied

"Which kain problem?"

"Na my cousin"

"Guy hope say story never enter that money?"

"Story no.."

"Hello! Hello!"

I looked at my phone & the call had ended, I quickly had my bath & dashed out

On my way my sister kept calling but I didn't pick so she sent me a message, "I need that money today" she wrote & I became scared.

I called Progress as I entered a keke to his cousin's house but it didn't go through, "this boy has put me in trouble again" I murmured as we moved

I finally got to his cousin's house & knocked on the gate, "who be that?" a female voice asked - seconds later the gate opened & I greeted the woman & told her I needed to see Loveday, Progress' cousin.

"Ha, dem dun pack comot!"

"Pack keh, when?"

"Since this morning o"

"How?"

I asked if she knew where they moved to & luckily she did, she described the place to me & I dashed off!

I finally located the house & luckily I found Progress outside, "Guy how far?"

"Uchman the hitman!"

"Abeg no hitman me, how far?"

"Guy abeg, my cousin never send me money"

"You say wetin?" I asked & he said he was expecting money from his cousin. "But you say you dun make your 1st million?" I asked him surpsignly & he said it was his cousin not him

"Come again?"

"Na the car be this when I dey wash, na the new house be this"

"Cheei! Progress o!!"

I found out that Progress was lying to me & I wailed more, I asked how I would get my money & he asked for more time

"More time keh?" I screamed, his cousin finally came out - I explained what was going on & he promised to pay me back the the following week.

"Really? Thank you"

Immediately he made that promise my sister called, I told her I'd send it the next day even though I had no clue how to get it & she calmed down.

Progress started to apologise for everything, I asked him why he did what he did & said the girls wanted 'intimidate him' that's why!

"But when they come back from the UK I'll pay back" he added, I asked him who was in the UK & he replied "our queens!"

"Which queens?" I asked & he said Kendra & Christy, I just turned back & angrily went home.

I got home sad, I thought of ways to cool off so I texted Christy..

The convo started well until I asked if we could see again & she told me she doesn't date broke guys like me, I felt a sharp pain in my heart - I was so hurt that I couldn't reply

While I was nursing that pain cousin called

"Container land from Dubai o, e dey market now"

Ehen?

"Finally one good news to save the day" I thought, the last time I helped my cousin coordinate sales when a container came in I made some money

I told him I'll be there early the next day, I finally found a reason to wake up the next day & a way to raise my sister's school fees.

I slept off & even in my dream I was still pained by what Christy told me, I regretted ever going to the club or thinking I had a chance with Otedola's relatives...

The next day I woke up, freshened up & wore something casual as I dashed to go join my cousin at Ladipo market..

I met up with him at a warehouse where the truck was parked & we started to work, I'd barely worked for an hour when I started to regret my actions in the past 2 days.

"Why am I suffering, who did I offend?" I asked myself, I kept working & shortly after my phone rang..

"Hian!"

I peeped to see who was calling & it was an unsaved number, I got scared & didn't want to pick initially but I finally picked.

"Hi Uche" this sexy voice said with a British accent, "Oh Becca!!" I responded when I realised who was talking!

She asked how I was as we got talking..

Her voice & delivery was perfect for me as it automatically lifted my mood, I told her she was the best thing to always happen to me when it happens & she smiled.

"There's a new school that needs computer supplies & I told them I had a guy" she said, "can you do it?" She added

"Providing office supplies is the only thing I can do in this life, apart from loving you; that's if you let me" I replied, "you always have a way with words Uche" she said & we both laughed as we concluded business.

I ended the call feeling elated, I went back to doing business

We finished selling car parts & my cousin gave me 50k from the profit when I explained my current situation, "so I got a supply deal & 50k in a day, this calls for celebration" I thought

I decided to go eat, I got to the buka & when I sat down I heard a voice selling "agbo jedi"

I turned to see who it was & to the shocker of my life I saw Kendra & Christy hawking 'agbo jedi" from shop to shop

"Am I dreaming? What are Otedola's relatives doing here?" I asked myself, I got up to confront her & my food fell!

"Damn!"

Before I looked they had gone

"Chai!"

Fast forward

I got home that evening & called my supplier at Ikeja to give me Price list for the items Becca sent

He replied with the prices & I sent it to Becca, she later called me & asked if I could supply the next day & I said yes

"Ok supply & they'll pay tomorrow"

"Yes!"

The next day I called Progress & we went with his cousin's car to Ikeja to carry the printers, on our way I asked Progress to tell me the full details; what happened & how he met the girls

"I was destined to meet those queens" Progress said, I asked him what he meant & he smiled

"Na jedi I been wan buy o, my guy go give me wrong number" he said, I became confused because I saw them selling agbo jedi

"But i see those girls dey sell agbo jedi" I replied, "which kain talk be that?" He asked! "My queens can't do such" he added.

"What's going On?" I thought

While at it I got a call from my sister asking for her money, I told her to give me a few hours & ended the call. Then I dialled Becca to update her, she then sent me the school's address & The contact of who to meet

She also sent me an address of where to meet her afterwards..

I thanked her & ended the call, we finally got to the school & met with the admin - we supplied the printers & computers & got paid, making a profit of 200k.

I thanked the management & left, I left the school & dialled Becca; seconds later she picked & I heard noises at her end!

"Becca is in trouble" I said to Progress as we immediately drove to the address she sent earlier.

Minutes later we were in a familiar environment but I just ignored, we soon found the address & as we wanted to knock I heard screams!

"I Can't do this anymore! It's over Phil!"

Progress pushed the gate open & suddenly we saw Becca exchanging words with a Guy, "What's going on here?!" Progress asked as we walked in.

As I looked closely I saw the guy who was with Becca, it was Phillip - the guy who refused to pay me for printer days ago!

"You again?!"

"You 2 know each other?"

"Yes, he was the customer I told you about"

Progress walked up to them & asked the guy to let go off Becca, "this is none of your business" the guy replied & we told him it was ours now.

"Who is he to you?" I asked Becca & she said he was her boyfriend

"But it's over now" she added & I became happy to hear that, "baby I said I was sorry" Phillip said - "sorry for yourself" Progress replied as he helped her with her bag & we took it inside the car.

"Baby you can't just leave like that?" Phillip added, "watch me leave your ass!"

"You're not just a lair & a cheat, you're wicked & heartless" Becca added, at this point she was angry & her accent became sexier!

"How can a young man working hard to earn a living supply you an item & you refused to pay?!"

"I never knew you knew him"

"Look at your excuse!"

"I'm sorry baby"

"Sorry for yourself!" Progress interrupted, I finally cut in & told them to calm down - "the young woman has a right to do what she wants, she wants to leave please let her" I said.

Phillip calmed a bit & looked at me, I wanted to say something when Becca spoke

"And where are your girls, I need my phones back" she said, "they go round telling people we are related & extort money from them" she added.

"They did what?" Phillip exclaimed, "c'mon Phillip don't act like you don't know, you make them do everything cos you can!" Becca cut in!

Phillip immediately went mute, Progress & I were confused.. "Thanks for coming Uche, you're an angel" Becca said & I was happy.

I signalled Progress & as we turned to go we heard the gate open, we saw 2 girls come in - we looked close, Lo & Behold it was Christy & Kendra

Ehn?!

"What's going on here?" I asked, "my queens are back from the UK!" Progress screamed as he ran to embrace Kendra!

"Which UK?" Phillip asked, "yes! Which UK?!" Becca added. "We did not go to any UK" Kendra said in her defence, "c'mon baby don't be humble" Progress replied Kendra!

"I knew it was you girls I saw at Ladipo!" I interfered, "wait, don't tell me you fools didn't go to the UK" Progress said with a rather serious look.

"They are my tenants, they live in the BQ in my house" Becca said - I try to treat them like sisters but not again!" Becca said!

"Chineke Nna!" Progress screamed as he grabbed Kendra by the shirt, "where's my 100k?!" He screamed as I quickly ran to stop him.

I asked him to explain what was going on he explained that they had been collecting money from him to connect him to Otedola

"What?"

100k in total!

"I'll kill you today!" Progress screamed & I told him to calm down, "na the money I been wan pay you back" he said. I told him to forget about paying me back, "let's just forgive them & go" I said

I asked the girls to go & sin no more, I signalled Progress & Becca & we drove off

On the way Becca kept thanking me for coming & handling the issue the way I did, I told her it was my pleasure. I brought out my phone & transferred my sister her money.

Progress then got a call from his cousin to bring the car, he then dropped Becca & myself at her house & left

She asked me in, "what of your parents?" I asked & she said she lived alone - "cool"

We went in & relaxed over some drinks as we talked.. night soon came, she asked me to sleep over & I agreed

I went to have a shower & she joined me..

And we had the icing on the cake.
