3.ASANA is a yoga pose that is steady and comfortable.It is the third step in the eight rungs of yoga.It can be meditative poses or they can be postures aimed towards attaining strength,balance and steadiness.
4.PRANAYAMA means regulation of breath.Breath and mind are closely related.If one can control his/her breath, one can control the mind and visa-versa. Pranayama gives steadiness, lightness to the body and calmness to mind.
5.PRATYAHARA is the bridge between external and internal yoga.The word 'pratyahara' stems from Sanskrit - prati and ahara. It is about withdrawing ourselves from any external information so we can hear the sounds within.
7.DHYANA - It involves concentration & meditation on a point of focus with the intention of knowing the truth about it. It's the instrument of self knowledge where one can separate illusion from reality.
8. SAMADHI is a state of consciousness where individual awareness dissolves into the greater whole. It's the 8th and final stage where one can attain enlightenment.
