(1) A quick thread about abortion, religion, and restoring #RuleOfLawJudges from the SCOTUS on down. #MAGA
(2) I'm too old to get pregnant, I'm non-religious, & I don't even live in the USA (yet). But the coming changes to abortion law in the USA are a historic moment not just for your country, but for the world.

LIFE is making a comeback.
(3) I don't see how it's possible to overturn Roe v Wade unless the Constitution is amended. That becomes more possible each day.

Restoring the right to life will say so much about how the USA has fared since its founding. It will say that the system worked, freedom is back.
(4) Roe v Wade affected more than the women seeking abortion. Obviously, it led to the death of millions of human beings, but it also led to massive political polarization, & has threatened the civil rights of we who object to participating in it. Using tax money was a mistake.
(5) Prolife doctors avoid contributing in any way toward elective abortions. I'm a layperson & was once "pro choice," but even I would now do the same. I would not work in administration for an abortion provider, funder, or promoter.

The right to object is sacrosanct.
(6) It occurred to me that objectors may have dif. reasons, but our commitment is the same.

A religious objection to elective abortion is often based on desire to avoid sin.

A non-religious objection is often based on one's own morality. Of course, this is true for both.
(7) What the Left still fails to admit, is that the number of prolife voters is increasing, including the subgroup of non-religious prolifers.

We figured it out by ourselves - elective abortion is murder and as such, it should be illegal. No ifs, buts or maybes.

Also,
(8) Within the large and growing group of prolife voters, many who would like some exceptions have been radicalized by Democrat intransigence.

#MicahsLaw banning abortion after a whopping 5 months gestation was shot down.

Micah was born at 20 weeks & is thriving at age >5.
(9) So have it, Democrats and the Left. Double down on your virtue signalling "pro choice" extremism.

The silent majority is ready. They will vote you out so hard in November you won't know what hit you. Don't say you weren't warned. #RedWave #MAGA #KeepDiggingDemocrats

(1) Live tweeting the swearing in of Justice Kavanaugh, October 6, 2018.

The White House and then the Supreme Court will host the two ceremonies necessary for the Justice to take his seat on Monday.

#ThankYouSenators #GodBlessAmerica #Originalism 🇺🇸👨‍⚖️
(2) Brett M. Kavanaugh will soon be the 102nd Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the USA. He has earned this highest honor throughout his life, inspired by his trailblazing mother, Judge Martha Kavanaugh.

His title for these few hours is Associate Justice Designate.
(3) This statement from the Supreme Court explains the two ceremonies:

(1) #ConfirmKavanaugh updates thread #3 starting from 10/4/18.

A directory of my 10 Kavanaugh threads, and counting. (I know, I surprise myself sometimes.)

#JudgeKavanaugh will soon be #JusticeKavanaugh and the American Republic will be preserved. 🦅
(2) This WaPo reporter is incorrect about the vote being "scheduled for" Saturday. The earliest time a vote COULD be held is Saturday pm. There's no reason not to hold it on Sun/Mon IF we need Daines. I think we won't. Read my 5 tweets about him here:
(3) An excellent short explainer about the fact that Mitch has the votes:

(1) A directory of my Kavanaugh threads since July 9, 2018.

I never planned more than a couple of threads about him this year but, I shoulda known the Dems would try to destroy whoever was the nominee this time.

Well, he fought back. #AmericanOfTheYear #JusticeKavanaugh 🇺🇸
(2) Like Democrats, I'd already decided how I felt about him before his nomination was announced. I live-tweeted the announcement, which was a great event in itself.

(3) I followed Kavanaugh's progress over the summer and on September 22nd, I finally wrote a thread about the preparations for the all-important hearing on September 27th. It covers the hearing before the next thread started the day after.

(1) #PhotoThread for the #ConfirmKavanaugh process starting 10/3/18.
(2) Mitch laughing to himself about how absurd it is that he has to push his way through the crowd of reporters on 9/25/18.
(3) Sen Grassley is 85 years old. (Democrats have senators around that age, too.)

Today he had to hold onto a Capitol Police officer to reduce the risk of a reporter knocking him over. This has to stop. Senators must return to being able to walk around freely at work.

She's one of those women whose face lights up whenever she is around children. God Bless our great First Lady.

(1) Live tweeting the Senate tonight. @SenateMajLdr has to file cloture by a deadline tonight in order to hold the #ConfirmKavanaugh vote Saturday.

Watch the livestream and videos here:

(2) Cloture in the Senate is a procedural step that you can learn more about at the link below. The senate.gov website is the best resource for learning about Senate procedure and a lot more. Same for house.gov.

(3) Watching live Senate floor proceedings is boring as hell, as they pass bills for naming Post Offices, & so on. But every now & then, they confirm a SCOTUS judge. And this time, they will affirm our great #BillOfRights #DueProcess & the hard-won #RuleOfLaw. Seriously. 🇺🇸🦅
