In Malaysia, MIDF reports find youth unemployment to be high - hitting a record 10.8% last year, attributed to a skills mismatch.
This is a significant 40.5% of total unemployment in #Malaysia.

In the local cosmetic scene, Velvet Vanity has been bringing in lipsticks that are inclusive in nature to all skin tones. Adlina Nadhirah, the founder, is a #youth#entrepreneur and aspires to see Velvet Vanity on Sephora shelves in 5 years time!
#Youths also breathe in a fresh breath of air into how #entrepreneurship impacts society. @Skolafund by @tahmadsyamil is a social #enterprise platform changing the lives of thousands of students seeking crowdfunded educational support.
Helping #refugees find financial means to ease their lives in #Malaysia, The Picha Project is a local social enterprise by three young female entrepreneurs who provide a unique catering service cooked by refugees from various countries!
Most youths experience trepidation over such a risky move by jumping into entrepreneurship. While it is normal, they should consider #entrepreneurship as a means of changing their lives should youth unemployment persist to be an issue.
