Reopening the Emmett Till case after 60 years,
after his mother and other close family that should have felt the victory of Justice are dead. After the "white" people who murdered him and cheered his murder have lived full, free lives.

This has nothing to do with justice
This is a White American pattern:
They they steal the life of a "black" person in the most depraved & barbaric way;
then their cops protect the murderer, their judges sit on benches and calls the murder justified and the white community claps their hands or shrugs their shoulders
They live comfortably with the blood of "Black" people on their hands & at their feet for decades; so long that their children are born stained in our blood and marked by their crimes
They go on, morphing into new phases of #whiteness leaving behind thousands more like Emmet Till
Until the moment when the world is beginning to question White American morality, or when they need to hide a surge of racially biased policies.....

Then they remember Emmet Till, because they know we have never forgotten him.

It's about morally disarming.....not Justice.
Research it and you'll see, it happens every sixty or seventy years;
the epiphany to say a crime that white people justified was wrong after all

Are you telling me, it takes sixty or seventy years for White America to realize that bashing someone face into disfigurement is wrong
I see people saying that Emmet Till was killed because of a white woman's lies, because Carolyn Bryant said he whistled when he didn't.

I say NO.....
Emmet Till was murdered to uphold the fallacy of #whiteness, to prove that any whim or displeasure of a Caucasian person was more than valid and natural, than a "Black" person's God given right to exist in their presence.

What if it was true....what is he did whistle?
So what?
Every time I read a headline that said "Carolyn Bryant admits she lied"
as if his murder would still be looked at "understandably justified" because of (you know) it was a different time and all.

It was NEVER justified
Black people didn't need Carolyn Bryant's word to know that
Finally I'll say this; Emmet Till always deserved JUSTICE...he deserved it 60 years ago.

But know this
Whenever America wants to look like the bastion of ever progressing Justice they us our stories....stories of the people they continue to brutalize & victimize.
Black Stories.
If you remember nothing else remember this
DO NOT BE FOOLED

Whiteness has a pattern
It murders you, cheers your death, justifies the shedding of your blood in courtrooms as legal and then years later holds your body up as a shield and a tool to prove their humanity.

Emmet Till
To my brothers & sisters who share this struggle.....as the #DescendantsOfTheSlaves I know that it doesn't always seem like it and as usual, others want you to think less of yourselves than you are...

But you have been and still are the moral compass of the world--
even in death

@CBSNews I'm going to say this and some of you won't like it....but it's the TRUTH:

I want everyone to notice how most of the Caucasian (white) people are talking around this discovery

"I hope their remains can be respect fully laid to rest"
"Maybe now they can rest in peace"
"So sad"
@CBSNews They've already moved on.
But most importantly, these are words to convince us "Black" people to move on.

Or they speaking about these 100 black bodies as if they can now be apart of some great mystery....a good will quest of sorts:
"Maybe their families can be found by DNA"
@CBSNews How many of the people with their soft words and motions of sympathy
ask questions like:
"Are any of the White men in my family responsible for these deaths?"

"Who murdered these men?"

"How many White people in this town knew?"

All these questions come to for Black people.
