1-The US will leave #Syria.
2- Let the Kurds continue negotiations with Damascus. 3- The US establishment will recognise Assad’s authority over Syria..
But Iran must leave.

#US came to #Syria uninvited and it’s presence is illegal.
Syria’s duty is to push it out by all means.
#US shall not obtain by negotiation what it failed to obtain in seven years of war.
.3/ Assad & his allies see a US-French-UK withdrawal as an achievement & their eventual withdrawal a necessity, once Syria is no longer in need of their help.
Assad conveyed to US, Iran not interested in remaining once mission of terminating “terrorist” threat is accomplished.

In my entire career, spanning more than three decades of professional journalism, I have never seen MSM resolve to such ugly smear campaigns & hit pieces against those questioning mainstream narratives, with a different view point, as I have seen on Syria, recently.
.2/ This is a dangerous manoeuvre , a witch hunt in fact, aimed not only at character assassination, but at attempting to silence those who think differently or even sway from mainstream & state narrative.
.3/ It would have been more productive, to actually question the reason why more & more people are indeed turning to alternative voices for information & news, than to dish out ad hominem smears aimed at intimidating by labelling alternative voices as conspirators or apologists.

The delay for the OPCW’s FFM team to enter #Duma & commence their investigation, is at the request of The United Nations Department of Safety and Security (UNDSS).

.2/ On 16 April, we received confirmation from the National Authority of the Syrian Arab Republic that, under agreements reached to allow the evacuation of the population in Ghouta, the Syrian military were unable to enter Douma.
.3/ The security for the sites where the FFM plans to deploy was under the control of the Russian Military Police.

Breaking: First batch of hostages held in #Douma, for the last three years by #Jaish_al_Islam (#JAI) are being released and handed to #Syrian military. Live Via #Syrian_al_Akhbariya TV
.2/ Women and young girls amongs the first batch to be freed. Names are being posted and broadcasted by the TV so their families know of their survival.
.3/ This is the first batch (about 35 individuals) amongst others to follow. Many families had gathered earlier in the day, some from other parts of the country desperately hoping that their missed ones are amongst those being held in Douma.
