If representative of final trailer/film, response should be interestinf: looks NOTHING like the first or lie any of the other DCEU movies. No other way to shorthand it - looks Marvel af (good way!)

"Marvel" hear meaning crisp, light, zero "grit" to the aesthetic - main visual hook is a kid/comedy-centered beat (think a "save the cat" moment) played for giggles/feels. I dig it, wonder if fans will feel the same.

Also looks more expensive, definitely.

SHAZAM! trailer is a riot - definitely a superhero comedy (think METEOR MAN tonewise) but with a DCEU "texture" to the visuals. Great gags.

Some details seem to imply that it *is* in-Universe to BVS/JL/etc, but could also not be. Unclear. Looks GREAT!!!

Possibly noteworthy: Levi repeatedly refers to his character as "Captain Marvel - SHAZAM."

Little girl in Isis cosplay asks if she will be in the movies. "We'll see."

They're giving most of the SHAZAM! audience questions to little kids. Good call.

Movie looks to be leaning hard on the Billy/Freddie as poor/hardscrabble youth angle from the early comics (in moden context.) "The people's superman," maybe?

AQUAMAN is here, cast is out. Momoa looks really into the moment - you can't say he doesn't want this to work.

Amber Heard is here - that's... interesting, under the circumstances.

AQUAMAN looks *extremely* impressive visually. Surprised they're *not* downplaying how similar their story take is to the first two THORs, and it's a little worrying that Momoa's performance isn't the focus of the debut trailer.

But Wan's blockbuster chops are real.

Audience member dressed as "tied up Aqualad" uses his audience question to ask Heard to untie him. Soooooo awkward.

Uhhhh.... okay. WB ends show with second #AQUAMAN trailer that will NOT be released to public because full of psuedo-spoilers.

Won't describe it, except to say that the film is MASSIVELY bigger than you think it is (if this is representative?) and could be the best DCEU movie.

Left unsaid during #DCEU showings but definitely palpable: Look/feel of the MOS/BVS/JL era is *over.*

WW84 looks like whole other tone, and w/out spoilers it appears A LOT of #AQUAMAN's plot/theme is Arthur transforming into a fundamentally different character than he was in JL.

Like I'm not even joking: AQUAMAN's plot appears to treat his JUSTICE LEAGUE persona/characterization/etc like the "Thor is a dumb asshole" first act of THOR 1.
