(9) LEO standing up in the armored vehicle outside the store (shooter can see him). Other LEOs to the side are walking around calmly. I'd say that side wall is solid, with no windows.

(11) The woman who was a passenger in the car was not seriously injured; was able to walk from the car when rescued. She is reportedly in her 20s. Unclear whether she or someone else was taken to hospital in a stable condition.

(19) Approx 28 yo suspect. He dragged the female passenger to the car. Police were able to track the stolen vehicle using technology. Suspect shot at Police through his rear window multiple times while in pursuit. Used a handgun. Surrendered after 3 hours.

(21) The grandmother is alive - in critical condition and undergoing her second surgery. She was shot 7 times.

(24) In my experience, a lot of active shooter situations turn out to have no fatalities & no or few injuries, so they're not all tweeted about by POTUS until it's over.

(26) Shooter was 28yo Gene Evin Atkins, who had lived with his now 78yo grandmother since age 8 (mother a drug addict, father in prison.) She had sought protective order from him in 2000.

(27) Police said there was a pursuit between when he shot his grandmother at 1.30pm and 3.30pm when he crashed outside Trader Joe's. It will be interesting to later learn more details about that time period.
