We need our healthcare, flawed though it may be/was. #SaveACA
A lot of us work. Keeping us working in great for the economy because we buy things.
We need the Medicaid buy-in. It's brilliant. Even previously resistant red States are figure out how the cost to the state is LOWERED by keeping Americans healthy.

As well caring for those who aren't because that's what we all want America to be.
A place where if you fall, your tax dollars will pick you back up.
I may only have six more days if this feeling. My next dose of the steroid is coming up and I can feel the pain in my hip rising.
The shot wore off at about 4 am. Together they put me at about 70% human.
Sleeping a full pain-free night, three days in a row put me at 85% of being a real person.
The joy of this weekend took it to 95%.
God it's hard not to cry. I don't want to wake everyone up.
My sister & mother especially know when I'm crying, even when they're asleep.
Yeah. We're in the same hotel suite. Both of them woke up slightly. We're a bunch of awesome weirdos.
I want this for everyone.
I want us to go to the doctor and feel like humans. Like we aren't there to beg to live.
For people not to look to #disabled people as inspiration one minute, but not be inspired enough to make phone calls, March and vote to help us... Not suffer and die.
But being pain-free isn't what made me feel human. I still have fatigue. I still need my cane. I still worry that pain at the site the cancer originated means it's back to chemo.
It's being able to fully participate in life as much as I desire, without being terrified of the costs. In money OR my dignity.
And whatever part of the federal, state or local government who thinks I won't fight until my dying breath for all of us to feel like full human beings is gravely mistaken.
That's where anyone who thinks cruelty to #disabled people fucked up.
We're unstoppable in any state. And the more you take from us? The more ways we find to fight. The more of us become activists out if necessity.
None of us are going to sit peacefully while you kill us, Republicans.
We'll sooner turn the Blue wave into the next Great Flood.

Friends, Romans, Country ass folks? This week all #myspoons threads will be cross-postedto @WeAreDisabled.
It's a cool project you can learn more about at weatedisabled.wordoress.com -a snapshot of @disabled people's lives & experiences, hosted for a week at a time by various disabled people.
I'm also going to be re-postimg some of my old cancer posts from tinustuff.com.
Damn if coffee doesn’t help me more than hurt. #myspoons
I wonder if getting out of the habit of drinking coffee was a daft choice as a #spoonie with multiple fatigue conditions.
Once my body let me get out of bed today, I figured, let me get coffee while I'm up. And wow.
It didn't fix everything (I’m definitely depressed and need a therapist) but damned if I'm not actually getting things done for the first time in 3 weeks.
