Let’s talk about the “kompromat” tapes: what they are, what they are NOT—and how, at this point, they aren’t really that important.
What we ALREADY KNOW about Trump is, or should be, damning enough.
[THREAD]
1/ After Helsinki, there can be no further denying that Putin has a hold on Trump. Before, one could make the argument that Trump “liked” Putin, in the way tween girls once “liked” the stars of Twilight, and this odd man-crush was why he was so deferential.
2/ In the wake of the #TreasonSummit, however, there simply is no other explanation for Trump’s utter subservience to this two-denga dictator: Putin HAS something on him. Period. Something YUGE.
3/ In Helsinki, Trump acts like the lesser king of a vassal state in the old Byzantine Empire, sent to pay obeisance at Constantinople. The body language, the facial expressions, the bowed deference to his (shorter) master. He looks weak, submissive, cuck-like. It’s pathetic.
4/ Because of this humiliation, there’s been a lot of speculation this past week about the tapes, plural, that form some of the kompromat Putin has on Trump (there’s more than just the tapes, obviously).
5/ Why? We like to think there will be a SINGLE MOMENT that will force Trump to resign. The worst of the kompromat tapes will wind up on YouTube or PornHub or wherever, everyone will watch, and anyone not yet appalled will join the rest of us in demanding his ouster. Boom! ⚡️
6/ The thing is, we don’t NEED the kompromat tapes to get to this point. We ALREADY KNOW about Trump’s history of rapine and sexual assault and fondness for underage girls. We KNOW. Maybe we haven’t seen it with our own eyes, but we know.
7/ We know Trump has been married three times, and that he’s cheated on all of his wives countless times. He is a serial philanderer. He can't stop himself. That’s who he is.
8/ We know Trump doesn’t use condoms.
Put it this way, and no offense to Stormy: if you are cheating on Wife #3 (who is home with your infant son), and you don’t wrap it up when boning the porn star, when DO you wrap it up?
9/ We know that for Trump, money is a crucial element of sex. He uses it to pay for women, either directly (transaction) or indirectly (as means of seduction). And he certainly uses it to make them go away after, to clean up his messes (NDA).
10/ We know Trump has paid women—many women—to keep quiet about his various affairs. Michael Cohen handed out NDAs like Tic-Tacs. We know about two of them. You really think there aren’t more?
11/ How many abortions has Trump financed, do you think? Because if you’re having unprotected sex with young women, and doing this often, unwanted pregnancy is a likely outcome. Science, yo. Math, yo.
12/ We know Trump is attracted to very young girls. That he routinely walked through the dressing room at Miss Teen USA when girls were changing. That he routinely hits on girls he knows are underage. That he partied with the pedophile sex addict Epstein.
13/ I’m not going to even get into all the Ivanka weirdness. But there is a LOT of weirdness.
14/ We know Trump rapes and sexually assaults women. He has over 20 accusers at this point, and I believe them. We’re supposed to believe they are ALL lying? Really? Miss Hungary is lying? The reporter from People is lying?
15/ Trump first visited Russia in 1987, while married to Ivana. At that time, per the Criminal Code of RSFSR, the age of consent was “sexual maturity.” It was changed to 16 in 1996, reduced to 14 in 1998, and raised again to 16, where it remains, in 2003. 🤔
16/ The third time he met @Comey, Trump insisted the golden shower story was fake, and that there were not hookers in the room in 2013. He also mentioned that Putin told him Russia had the best hookers (?). theweek.com/speedreads/768…
17/ The tapes are not as lurid as some have speculated, sources say. No snuff, no golden showers, nothing like that.
What remains?
The stuff Trump likes: underage Ivanka-lookalikes; sexual aggression; bullying; raw sex; pretending he’s alpha; disposability.
18/ Moscow, 2013: Trump is far from home, he’s been around beautiful women all day, he’s been lavished with attention, he’s offered girls. His impulses overtake him. He makes arrangements to have some fun, things get out of hand, and Putin has it on tape.
But, again: NONE OF THIS IS NEW. It’s heinous, to be sure. But it’s not new.
The president is a rapist & a sexual predator.
Putin’s corroboration is not necessary, and will only lead to further denials.
What Trump has ALREADY DONE suffices.

Let’s talk about the House of Kavanaugh—specifically, the hefty mortgage on said house.
[THREAD]
1/ In 2006, Brett & Ashley Kavanaugh bought a house for $1.22m. They put $245k down, a number that does not appear on his financial disclosures of 2005, which show net worth of $91k.
2/ The mortgage payments ($4600/mo.) alone were more than what Brett Kavanaugh took home in 2006 after taxes. His wife did not add enough to the mix to make up the difference.
In light of the epic (in every sense of the word) NYT story on Trump's tax fraud, let's have a quick review of all the legal troubles these traitors are now in:
[THREAD]
1/ PAUL MANAFORT, Trump’s campaign chair (May-Aug 2016): found guilty on eight counts, pleaded guilty on a bunch more as part of a plea deal in which he must cooperate with Mueller. Met w/Mueller this week, in fact.
2/ MIKE FLYNN, deputy chair of Trump Transition Team, natsec adviser: pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI. Awaiting sentencing. Will one day get out of prison. Will always be an ugly, ugly man.
Pleased to announce a slate of #DirtyRubles Trump/Russia events, on three of the next five Sundays:
The event in Madison, my hometown, is taking place at an undisclosed secret location [insert Dick Cheney joke here]. If you'd like to come, you need to RSVP: facebook.com/events/6757800…
Let's talk about the Putin/Alt-Right/GOP propaganda machine—the REAL Devil's Triangle—as it relates to Brett #Kavanaugh:
[THREAD]
1/ This cozy little messaging arrangement, which operates happily in the dark most of the time, is now being exposed because of the fatally flawed candidate Donald Trump has nominated to the Supreme Court.
2/ The problem with Kavanaugh is manifold: first, that he had six-figure credit card debts paid off by creditors whose identity we still don’t know; second, that he lied during his initial testimony...
Things might feel a bit bleak. Kavanaugh might be in, Rosenstein might be out, and both would be horrible outcomes for democracy.
So let’s put things into perspective.
[THREAD]
1/ The Kavanaugh fight is not over. Even if he gets CONFIRMED, the fight is not over. He stands credibly accused of sexual assault, and he owes lots and lots of money to…we don’t know who.
There’s also this business of HIS (maybe) stolen emails:
2/ Dr. Ford will likely appear before Congress…and the GOP may bring in outside counsel (note spelling) because THERE ARE NO WOMEN REPUBLICANS ON THE JUDICIARY COMMITTEE. This is HORRIBLE optics. It will cost them in November. Bigly.
Let’s talk about #Kavanaugh. This is why he should not be confirmed. And it has nothing to do with his political beliefs.
[THREAD]
1/ #Kavanaugh was not on the list of judges given to Trump by Judicial Watch, but he was tapped anyway. This was after Trump said he’d “study” (hahaha) judicial positions on various things—namely whether or not a POTUS can be indicted.
2/ When @ChuckGrassley says he didn't know about Christine Blasey Ford, he may well be telling the truth. The letter from those 65 women was likely produced ahead of time to defend #Kavanaugh against a DIFFERENT accuser(s) we don't yet know about.
