A perfect #TooGoodNotToShare example of the dilemma we often face in any decision making.
A group of children were playing near two railway tracks, one still in use while the other not....
#Dilemma
Only one child played on the unused track, the rest on the operational track.
A train is coming, and you are just beside the track interchange. You can make the train change its course to the unused track and save most of the kids.
But, have you ever thought that the child chose to play on the unused track had in fact made the right decision to play at a safe place?
Nevertheless, he had to be sacrificed because of his ignorant friends who chose to play where the danger was.
Similar dilemma is faced by us everyday.
In office, community, politics & especially in a democratic society, the #RIGHT is often sacrificed for the interest of the majority, no matter how foolish or ignorant the majority are & how far-sighted & knowledgeable the wise are.
The great critic Leo Velski Julian who told the story said he would not change the course of the train because he believed that the kids playing on the operational track were aware that the track was still in use and that they would run away when they hear the train's sirens.
Now, let us understand the repercussions of diverting the train...
✖️That lone child would definitely die because he never expects that a train could come over on the unused track!
✖️Further, that track was not in use probably because it wasn’t safe. If the train was diverted to such a track, we may put the lives of all passengers on board at stake
✖️AND in our attempt to save few kids thinking that the train may run over them,we might end up
sacrificing hundreds of people
While we all are aware that life is full of tough decisions that need to be made,we don’t realize that hasty decision may not always be the right one
We spend the best years of our lives waiting for a #Miracle when the miracle is #Life itself
We wait for approval,we wait for promotion,we wait for the bonus,we wait for freedom,we wait for a revelation AND in all this,we forget to live
Today, I make this promise to myself. No more waiting. I will live each day like it was the last day of my life. And I will live each day like it is the first day of the rest of my life with no regrets of the day that was..
I will be #Courageous.
Not courageous like a #Soldier under fire, but courageous enough to not wait. Courageous enough to #Live every moment to the hilt.
#Courageous enough to know that the only losses I should fear are the loss of #Love and #Respect, for myself & for those around me.

#TooGoodNotToShare ... #Rule72
What is Rule 72?
In personal finance, if you divide the number 72 by the rate of interest, you get to know the number of years it will take for you to double the money..
Eg: if the rate of interest is 9%, simply divide the number 72 by 9 and the answer is 8. Thus it will take 8 years to double your money if you invest at 9% p.a. rate of interest.
#INTEREST
We can use this rule in reverse to know the rate of interest needed to double your money to achieve your set goal.

With a #panic stricken face and trembling voice, she started screaming and jumping, with both her hands desperately trying to get rid of the cockroach
Her reaction was contagious as everyone else in her group also started to panic
The lady finally managed to push the cockroach away but it landed on another lady in the group and it was the turn of the other lady in the group to continue the drama
The waiter rushed forward to their rescue
In the relay of throwing, the cockroach next fell upon the waiter
