I checked who this Nityanand is by clicking on Twitter handle. The name is "Daren Jarry" Who has not tweeted yet.

And there is a link to Daren Jarry. It is this. goldfrapp.co.uk ,A website with advertisement to make money. And that is not all. There is one follower of Daren I know. Who is it? #Dhanya
Now I am very intrigued by @IamRajii 's comment especially "opposition party"

It appears that @thenewsminute lends its platform to a Daren Jarry who uses the 'pen name' of 'Nityanand Jayaraman' a very Indian sounding name. And the profile has not tweeted once. The website given in profile has nothing to do with a Journalist.

Nityananda aka Daren has 60 followers. None substantial.

Intriguing. However, the credibility of @thenewsminute appears shaky. They are up to something, it appears. Definitely not news. But activism.
I have heard not a lot of money can be earned by publishing but for not-publishing?

Well, well, well, @thenewsminute is busy covering its track and while doing it, it is leaving more tracks doing that. Will you ever believe this portal is for news? Agenda. Surreptitious. Furtive, Sly. Has the portal done irreparable damage to national interest? Be the judge!

One thing is certain. There is more to the role of @thenewsminute than meets the eye. Reeks of contrivance. People should unfollow these kind of portals that cannot face the people in their eyes.

It takes us to an important question. Does the garb of journalism gives one a license to put 1000s of people's livelihood in risk? How many are not pushed to poverty by this kind of irresponsible propaganda? Is personal gain so important?

Will the curse of those who have lost their livelihood due to this kind of spurious reporting touch the progeny of the culprits? Will there be any remorse? Do we need such portals?

Q. Why was #Dhanya following this handle then? When it was exposed, why did #Dhanya not clarify and then go to unfollow?
She is trying her best to play it down. Futile.

Q: Is this the level of due diligence in @thenewsminute ? That you publish incendiary articles without verifying the details of author? As the answer is yes, how reliable is your article? You lit a fire in #Sterlite that closed down lives of people. Are you accountable?

Answer is, these portals like @thenewsminute is not accountable to anyone except to those who have funded them. Their salary comes from the funders. Not from people who read the portal. Clear conflict of interest.
