SmartTrack wasn't just an off-the-cuff promise. It was Tory's central plank. He had a flashy website that told visitors - based on imagination - how much time they'd save commuting from stations that do not, and will never exist. This mayor does not deserve re-election. #topoli
That site is still up by the way: smarttracker.ca The western extension doesn't exist. Also, note a three-stop subway extension in Scarborough, which is now one stop at $3.5 billion (another Tory specialty), projected to go up. Virtually all of this was fantasy. #topoli 
Tory's team quite literally, just put random dots in places with no consultation on whether this was feasible. It turned out, it wasn't. So, most of these green SmartTrack stations, the ones that weren't already part of GO Transit, aren't happening. This was a scam. #topoli
Each day of the campaign, every reporter should ask mayor Tory about his "London-style surface rail subway" he promised every day on the stump in 2014.
