It’s likely that during the 2016 campaign, officials at the DOJ, FBI, CIA and NSA broke laws to ensure that the outsider Trump lost to Hillary Clinton. FBI and DOJ officials misled the FISA Court in order to obtain warrants to surveil Trump associates.
National security officials unmasked the names of those being monitored and likely leaked them to the press with the intent to spread unverified rumors detrimental to the Trump campaign. A spy on the federal payroll was implanted into the Trump campaign.

In the last week Nunes has sent 3 letters to Goodlatte and Gowdy, each recommending a number of people that the Judiciary-Oversight task force (formed Oct. 24, 2017) needs to interview publicly. washingtonexaminer.com/news/what-is-d…
The first letter focused on current and former officials of the Justice Department and FBI, 17 in all, whose actions formed the focus of the first phase of Nunes' investigation, on the Trump dossier.
2nd letter focused on current and former officials of the State Department and some other agencies, 10 in all, whose role in the dossier and other matters formed the second part of Nunes' probe. Note Shailagh Murray, who served as an adviser to Obama & Colin Kahl (Biden adviser).

From OIG report, appears 7 separate reporters had 331 contacts with 54 different FBI personnel during the time periods of April/May and October 2016. Who were these reporters and FBI employees? justice.gov/file/1071991/d…
Remember, these charts do not reflect communications that occurred b/t media representatives and FBI employees who were working in a public affairs capacity or were otherwise authorized to speak directly to the media.
Although FBI policy strictly limits the employees who are authorized to speak to the media, IG found that this policy was widely ignored. IG identified numerous FBI employees, w/no official reason to be in contact w/media, who were nevertheless in frequent contact w/ reporters.

Those critical of the FBI/DOJ are not the ones trying to destroy these institutions. They’re destroying themselves. Look at the statements by FBI agent Strzok & FBI attorney Page, but also 3 others not named in the IG report but referred to as Agent 1, Agent 5, & FBI Attorney 2.
One of the most devastating statements in the report is from an Aug. 8, 2016 text. When Page, the high-ranking FBI lawyer with whom he was having an affair, texted, "[Trump's] not ever going to become president, right? Right?!" Strzok responded, "No. No he's not. We'll stop it."
Horowitz included much more from Strzok and Page. But equally devastating in the report is what the IG revealed about Agent 1, Agent 5, and FBI Attorney 2. washingtonexaminer.com/news/byron-yor…
