(1) Seeing notice of a demonstration against Twitter policies that is planned for this Friday in San Francisco has prompted me to finally tweet my photo thread from the Portland rioting on 8/4/18.

(2) I will have some links at the end of this thread to further information about what happened in downtown Portland on August 4th. First, here are some photos.

Both sides used masks to make Policing more difficult. Not just Antifa.

(3) I wish they wouldn't associate themselves with President Trump. And WTH is that guy in the second photo even wearing?

(4) A catchy slogan for meme warriors, but some of us are well aware of what the Pinochet regime in Chile did to its opponents, and it's not something that should be excused or made light of.

(5) At these events, LEOs try to locate and confiscate weapons, including wooden, metal or plastic poles. Hollow cardboard tubes are more appropriate.

(6) Antifa with shields made from plastic drums. Most DIY shields can be confiscated as weapons. Sharp corners, heavy materials etc.

Remind me what is the point of holding street demonstrations when we don't need to at this time?

Protip: Distinctive tattoos make it easier for the Police to identify you from previous incidents.

(9) Please do not associate the President with these violent performance art spectacles. Even better, stay home, so you won't be part of enticing Antifa to harass and assault people.

So don't encourage them by holding pointless self-defeating demonstrations in the street.

Especially in Leftist ****holes like San Fran, where Police take pride in NOT working with the FBI vs terrorism, for example.

"White supremacy is terrorism" it says.

First, the only terrorism going on at this event was by the violent Left...

(16) What does this even mean? Guns are needed to defend ourselves from violent people if the situation arises. Walls work, and wealthy Leftists have them around their homes.

There's no logic with them. Not a modicum of common sense.

(17) Oh and the guy in the photo above who asserts somehow that Proud Boys are cowards? He is wearing a bandanna pulled down around his neck, probably to cover his face if rioting starts (which it did).

(18) The demonstrators who hold themselves out to be right wing often are not. This one holds a #BackTheBlue flag but if you truly support Police & the rule of law, why would you needlessly invite civil unrest by Antifa, which often sees Police getting injured? Hypocrites.

(19) Rather violent imagery isn't it? Slicing right through the snake on our Molon Labe flag. They bring their little kids along to these events.

(24) Regarding San Fran this Friday, I'm sure that most LEOs are highly competent, decent people. Unfortunately their leaders have made poor decisions on policy, under pressure from Dem politicians. It's the last place in the US where I'd want to attend a demonstration.
