July 31 2016, the day that #CrossfireHurricane started, Paul Manafort was on Face the Nation and was asked about Russia. The responses were entirely reasonable....

By the way, Manafort was also on Meet the Press that day and was directly asked about foreign interference by Chuck Todd
Sessions was on State of the Union with Acosta filling in for Jake Tapper (!!) and Acosta hits on the "Trump getting money from Russia" line and then switches to "Is Putin a good or bad person"

1/ Andy McCabe shot up the FBI hierarchy at a stunning pace. He seemed intent on getting to the very top, and he accomplished that goal through a few lateral movements and positioning towards the end....
2/ In Aug 2015, McCabe moved from Washington Field Office to FBIHQ, receiving the job of Associate Deputy Director. This seems to have been a (Comey sanctioned?) holding position, waiting for FBI long-timer Mark Giuliano to retire, which happened in Jan 2016.
3/ When Giuliano retired, McCabe moved into the very powerful Deputy Director spot.

Right around that same time period there was ton of movement within the upper ranks of the FBI. Here is an abbreviated list/timeline, sure to be further developed as time goes:

This could be a big deal if the moveon.org protest is triggered.
Reminder that the original "red line" on the moveon protests were if Mueller were fired.

Then in January 2018 that evolved to include Rosenstein being fired or if "key witnesses" are pardoned.

A TON of people are signed up for these protests. Remains to be seen if they'll come
The actual red line is "firing" Rosenstein. Not forced out or resigning. Is moveon going to keep to what they said?

Comparing the first batch of Strzok-Page texts to the second batch has some interesting quirks. For example...
This is pretty opaque (from the second batch).
But when you reference back to the first batch you get this. I honestly don't understand why they would redact that. Strzok bashes O'Malley in a few other places and it's not redacted there...

"Near the end of July 2016, Steele sent the FBI agent in Rome (Gaeta) the opposition research on Trump he generated working for Fusion GPS."

This is different than previous testimony. It was thought this happened around July 5...
"The Rome-based agent (Gaeta) then forwarded the reports to an agent he worked with in the FBI’s New York field office (unknown name) – an agent with expertise in criminal organizations and organized crime, not counterintelligence, sources told ABC News."
