Forget the "national media". The nation's medium is WhatsApp.
Please feel free to use this image and forward far and wide (link redirects to CM's Disaster Relief Fund).

Here's the text I am using in sending Whatsapp messages (use with images above):
Dear Friends, Kerala is reeling under possibly the worst natural disaster and floods in a century. Please help by donating your money and time in this hour of need. bit.ly/helpkerala 🙏
Here's another one for the Amazon #KeralaFloodRelief link, since this seems to work much better for folks from the US. Please spread and RT.
Please also forward on WhatsApp to your networks. bit.ly/amazonkerala
Here's one for the Amazon link for #KeralaFloodRelief, since that seems to be working much better for folks from the US. Please share and RT.
Also send via WhatsApp.
For the Amazon option, if you don't see the gift registry address, try this:
Choose the "deliver to multiple locations" option, then it should show the Goonj (or NGO of your choice) address (hidden) on the next page.

I have always maintained that the Alaipayuthey BGM is a piece of genius, one that deserves a soundtrack of its own. Here, the Evano Oruvan theme: #ARRahman
(Please Bollywood, this does not mean that you need to make a cheap rip-off starring Prateik Babbar or Aditya Roy Kapur or whoever the fuck the new starkid is with this genius bit of music, leave it alone)
Anyway. I think one of my favorite things about the Alaipayuthey BGM (at least the sound captured from the movie) is the drone of the venerable old MG EMUs from Chennai in the background. ❤️
Good morning. Please go see this wonderful National Award winning Gujarati movie 'Dhh' when it releases in India late September:
Best child actors I have seen in any Indian movie, ever. Lovely film. #Dhh
If you thought Taare Zameen Par was great, this movie will seriously blow you out of the water. Unbelievably relatable to anyone who has ever gone to school in India. Very, very well made movie. Still thinking about it a whole day later.
Here's the film's Facebook page, where there will be information (soon) on where to watch it, etc.: facebook.com/dhhfilm/#Dhh
