They don't need any help in cash or kind.

#KeralaFloodRelief thread. Pls bear with me. I know many of you have sent relief materials to Kerala. But please don't stop sending clothes, pulses, condiments, napkins, food etc. There are more than 7 lk people in relief camps across Kerala. Many don't have a house to go bk to.
As we go back to our offices tomorrow, these people will still be living in camps. In places in Alappuzha district the water won't recede for a few more days. In districts like Idukki and Wayanad, houses have been destroyed completely.
Many people will need to stay in these camps for a few more days. Which means the govt and other citizens need to ensure that all of them get good food and medication. And when they go back home, the process of rebuilding their lives will begin.

3. Having noticed some discussions about an acute shortage of sanitary napkins in Kerala, I DM’d @4eo for more details. In short, we decided to pitch in. I sent a WhatsApp message to Mandeep Singh of Sootheheathcare.com on Saturday morning, and he immediately called back.
1. The Prime Minister visited Kerala to review the situation arising out of floods in the State. After a review meeting, he made an aerial assessment of the damages caused due to floods in some of the affected areas of the State, as permitted by weather conditions. #KeralaFlood
2. The Prime Minister reviewed the flood situation during a meeting with @CMOKerala and officials of the State Government.
After the review, the PM announced a financial assistance of Rs 500 crore to the State. He also assured relief materials including foodgrains, and medicines

Local People are talking of how badly Kerala govt managed flood situation by not managing the out flow of water from 50+ dams gradually but instead released it suddenly to flood & kill people & crops #KeralaFloodRelief
They will come correctly back on time to receive all the credit on the hard work done by defence soldiers and other volunteers. All news headlines will have their photos on front page search including the CM who is presently nowhere!!!

Kerala provided Rs.5cr to Pakistan for flood relief.
The @CMOKerala noted that the floods had caused considerable hardships to the people of Pakistan. Hence the decision to provide the assistance.

Sad to see the rumour-mongering and passion-whipping over #Mullaperiyar. No cracks or leaks have developed, so no need for any panic
It started heavily even in Thiruvananthapuram. Heard that Mudirapuzha arm of Periyar receiving heavy rainfall and Madupetty Dam shutters are opened. Mullaperiyar is at 136.60 ft at 12noon today. #KeralaFloods
The water from Madupetty Dam will flow through Munnar to Kallarkutty and Lower Periyar Dams and will join Bhoothankettu Barrage in Periyar River..
Mudirapuzha arm of Periyar is used to receive heavy rainfall. This sub basin along with Mullaperiyar catchment created great havocs in 1924 and 1961 floods.
1. HM @rajnathsingh conducted an aerial survey on Sunday & announced ₹100cr Immediate central assistance to the #SDRF, Total allocation of the SDRF for 2018-19 was ₹214 cr including state share & Financial assistance under the SDRF is not for compensation of loss. #KeralaFloods

3. In this case according to the established Procedure, the state gov is reqd to present a detailed memorandum indicating the sector-wise details of damage and requirement of funds. Then an Inter-Ministerial Central Team (IMCT) is deputed for an on-the-spot assessment of damages
Mr @drthomasisaac I think it is NCRF, both CRF and NCRF was merged with the State Disaster Response Fund(SDRF) in 2010.

2. FYI 14th Finance Commission has recommended an allocation of ₹61220 crore in the SDRF to all the states, comprising of central share as well as state share.
