Here's our latest #StolenValor fake. To be clear, he did serve, but not in the least bit the way that he claims. Let's go over a few of those claims first.
As you'll notice, his avi depicts him as a Marine. His screen name insinuating that he was a Marine First Sergeant, because ya know, everyone just loves Marines. Here he claims a Purple Heart and a CAR 
Here he uses the term 1st Marine COMBAT Division. Well, that can't be right because it's actually called 1st MARDIV by Marines.
A few days later after he's been corrected, by a Marine that he blocked afterwards, he finally gets it right. He also calls this MY 1st Marine Division, furthering his insinuation that he was a First Sergeant there
Now let's go back a few years to where he led us to his old blog. You'll notice this is from 2013
Another one from 2013 where he points us to HIS blog
From his blog, we learned that yes, he was a Marine. For 1 tour in Vietnam under the Force Logistics Command. He also claims he was turned from a radio repairman to a grunt (Infantry) with Provisional Rifle Company immediately
We also learned from him, his name was Vernon Snodderly, and that immediately after his 1 tour in Nam, he went to the Army National Guard and became a tanker. What's also interesting is that he never claims to have been wounded or given a Purple Heart?
Of course, this all led us to Vernon's FB page
What do we find on his FB page, well of course it's a pic of him as a First Sergeant. But what's funny is that it's definitely not a Marine First Sergeant, but an Army one
You'll also notice that although he's wearing a Blue Cord, he's not wearing the blue backings under his collar pins. Real squared away! He's also missing a Combat Infantry Badge. Surely the Army would have let him wear one since he was a grunt in the Corps in Nam right?
There's not much to be found on the net about FLC or Provisional Rifle Company 2nd Platoon, but I did find this. They were never grunts, they were support guys with rifles
Here is where it gets funny! Just DAYS ago, he posts this 😂😂😂. He is describing himself to a T, calling out #StolenValor . Has he never seen a mirror?
One thing I neglected in his blog post is that he himself claims he was only a team leader. This suggests he was E-4, possibly E-5 during his service as a Marine, but surely not a First Sergeant
We have also sent out an FOIA on Vernon to verify his awards and see if that Purple Heart is real or not. I mean, why neglect that in your blog post? Seems like a pretty big deal to me. FOIA will take weeks though, and we'll post that when it comes in, like we did with docpeteyj
