I know everyone (rightfully) are angry at the NRA and are blaming Congress and Senate who take their money (also rightfully), or have correctly associated the @NRA with Russian involvement...

I encourage you look deeper

The NRA changed when Wayne La Pierre took over in 1991
While Dana is currently the spokesperson and is shitty as most have been the past 25 years, she is just the face of the organization while Wayne has run it as VP since 1991
I was warned by a friend who was high up in the NRA that bad things were coming and he quit once Wayne LA Pierre took over.

His fears came true.

I still am a strong supporter of 2A and will always be, but the NRA isn't what I grew up with anymore.
