Egregious cases of #RTE as activist hit High Court : Children equally suffer due - now not everyone can understand the issue here and the deception jagranjosh.com/news/admitted-… ; let me explain for benefit of public.

Imagine the following situation :

1 . You are a non-minority trust and have a school with 100 Seats. #RTE stipulates you set aside 25 seats for (whatever arbitrary quota Govt decides) -- all fine till now.

2. It is also the case that the 25 seats wuld have to be subsidized by your trust somehow - most likely by passing on burden to the other 75. Even here -- all fine till now. read on..

3. Now the way #RTE works is you have to conduct a lottery and select the 25 (or in most cases Govt will do that for you and allocate some 25) -- all fine till now too.

4. So 25 kids are ready for free seats in Feb. Now your trust have to find the other 75 - what if you are only able to find 50 ??

5. How is this possibel ! yaar - here is the trick they played on you. By showing Top Delhi private schools they drafted a law pretending ALL Hindo run schools will be **OVERSUBSCRIBED** that is not the case of course. Maybe a few reputed ones will be

6. So the rule is if you are only 50 seats - you will admit from the 25 freebie pool - one every 3 general admissions. So the rest are "virtual" and will depend on the trust ability to attract enough paying.

7. Now the activists are hitting the court saying irrespective of subsription factor you have to admit on Day 1 -- THIS is how far they have kicked the ball. Worse, there is ZERO evidence the mantri even understands - WTF I am talking about here.
