I live in Florida. A joke about this state a lot, but it's all in good fun. Freedom comes with a price, unfortunately evil takes advantage of freedom and use it to pray on the innocent. Our gun laws aren't the problem, this is a societal problem. Problem that's being ignored.
Unfortunately you can't predict who will use a firearm for evil. No laws can stop that. Even if you pass all the gun control you want, evil will find a way to take a life. I encourage people to prepare for these types of acts. Buy a gun in train with it.
Don't rely on a piece of paper to protect you. We have laws against murdering and injuring people with weapons on the books, that didn't stop someone today from killing three people and injuring 11 others at a video game event with a firearm.
Be prepared is all I'm saying. Laws are necessary if they work. Clearly since 1934 #guncontrol laws haven't worked. They make us more vulnerable to evil acts of violence. They give us this false sense of security. They are campaign slogans, not tools to defend us against death.
Your favorite celebrities and politicians who push for gun control are often protected by men and women who carry guns. Why you may ask? Because they are prepared in case someone tries to harm or kill them. Why shouldn't we? Why have laws to hinder that?
Some will say "we just want guns out of the hands of the criminally insane, criminals, domestic abusers and terrorist". "Law abiding citizens should't be labeled by blanket laws as being any of the things you just name". That's my response to that.

She doesnโt come off as credible or genuine in her testimony, it looks like sheโs acting or is manufacturing emotions, while describing the assault.
Everyone she claimed as a witness, canโt corroborate her story
They have either said that they donโt remember or that it never happened.
She has claimed she has a fear of flying, but travels by airplane for vacations and work, but couldnโt fly to testify?
She also claimed that no one offered to come to her. We know this is a lie.
Republicans offered to fly out to her and have a closed interview, her and her lawyers refused.
Her emotions while testifying were all over the place.
Talking about alleged sexual assault: Weeping, head down, voice crackling.
The officer out in Dallas Texas who shot a man inside of is own apartment made a tragic mistake. I don't think she set out to kill this man. In other words, I don't think she murdered him. However she should face the consequences of her actions.
Oh, one more thing. Stop making this into a race and cop issue. I believe if this was a black woman and she wasn't a cop, she would have reacted the same way. This woman made a mistake that part is clear, so she should have her day in court to answer for her actions.
I feel bad for the gentleman that was killed. Everyone should feel safe inside their own home. Your home is your castle. I wish didn't happened. 1 person life has been extinguished, while the other person involved has to live with the guilt of extinguishing that life.
Motivated by a different set of circumstances. I don't need any one to be my voice because my actions speak louder than words. Fighting for everything you believe in may cause you to lose fake friends and well wishers. Freedom is a game not meant for the weak, only the strongest
I survived 3 gun shots from a criminal, crippling poverty, a poor education system, a broken family structure and poor health. I over came it all with perseverance, hard work, determination and True Grit. I am the American success story that hasn't been written.
I come from the school of hard knocks, where the lesson was to get knock down "9 times and get up 10" The hand outs were to a minimal. The only way to survive was to do things your way and to Ignore all doubters and the ignorance of your situation.
