Tonight I see the rule of law dying, the principles our country was founded on are being ignored, due process is being trampled upon.

I care very much about women's rights, LGBTQ rights, healthcare as we know it, and the possibility getting justice against an #IllegitimatePOTUS

The respect that I once had for elected officials has faded, the respect that I had for fellow Americans who were on the other side of the aisle disappears

No I don't hate them, I am disgusted by the fact that we have forgotten that while we may have differences we are Americans

As Americans, sure we make mistakes, but we also learn from our mistakes and fix it so that we don't repeat them.

In the current environment, I do not feel I can trust fellow Republicans, who once cared about 🇺🇸, blindly turn a blind eye towards atrocities and hate

I watch as @ChuckGrassley @JeffFlake @LindseyGrahamSC pretend to care about their dear friend @SenJohnMcCain but moments later do exactly the opposite of what he would have done. Remember👎... That was because it lacked due process.

Or the likes of @SenatorCollins and @lisamurkowski who both paid tribute to @SenJohnMcCain but will continue to line up behind others in their party and do the opposite of 👎 - even when they know it is not right

Or @SenateMajLdr well I probably can't say enough about him or @LindseyGrahamSC who said it was too close to an election when it came to #merrickgarland but apparently it's not too close when it comes to #KavanaughHearings

So I see our rules, norms, laws, integrity, our due process and hence the foundation of our laws and democracy disappearing.

I do believe an honestly elected POTUS has a right to nominate someone for SCOTUS, but not @realDonaldTrump he is illegitimate will clear ties to Russia

I believe the judicary committee has the right to host hearings, but NOT with due process and providing all the information needed to make an objective decision.

Instead all I see is behavior that support my claim #democracy is dying.

What's sad, many people still don't #vote

I stand corrected, it's not about following due process but instead about the Senate GOP upholding it's constitutional duties. That is worse.
