I've ruminated quite a bit on the anonymous op-ed published by NYT.

I've read it at least a dozen times.

I've listened to what really smart people have to say about it.

No matter how I litigate it in my mind, I always end up at the same bottomline.

Although I am grateful there is a group of people within the administration who are mitigating Mr. Trump's worst inclinations, I do not believe the motives of the author are as altruistic as they claim.

Because no one is the villain in their own story.

In truth, the author is admitting that s/he is guarding their party and their grasp on power before they are protecting the country.

Because there are Constitutional remedies for this situation.

OK, let's put the #lodestar #NYTimesOpEd in perspective. We're told by the national media that dozens of senior aides and staffers are part of this WH insurrection. Yet, NOT ONE INDIVIDUAL has had the courage/integrity to resign and speak out.

I'm concerned about the internal pressure being placed on Trump. I've always thought the claims he was out of control were exaggerated. But having worked on presidential campaigns, I know the kind of paranoia leaking creates, and none of us should want that for ANY president.
If we're to believe #lodestar and others that Trump is a danger to America, then creating an atmosphere of extreme paranoia is an incredibly irresponsible thing to do. These people should step up, resign, and speak out publicly. It's the right thing for their country.

I know not who wrote the #NYTimesOpEd and frankly I don't care.

The situation currently is that the house is burning and we are more focused on who set the fire than trying to save the house.

My tweets seem like rambling lately, and to my friends I apologize. /1
It is my inner feelings, my emotions, my anger, and my frustrations that I share.

We can focus on finding out who to blame for the fuck up in the 2016 elections, or we can focus on how to limit the damage to our democracy to 2 years. /2
Apparently the checks and balances that our forefathers had put in place are not working as expected. If the #NYTimesOpEd is to be believed, it is high time that we invoked #25thAmendmentNow and save democracy, but party has taken more importance than country /3

💥KABOOM!! The inevitable mutiny. It begins.…
The importance of the anonymous mutiny Op-ed:
• It’s a beacon to recruit other mutineers.
• It’s a “go” signal to GOPers in Congress to bail on Trump.
• It’s a green light for “lean GOP” voters to abandon Trump.
• The end is near. Maybe nearer than November.
Ha!! Pence likes him some "lodestar." Other clues:
• "Amoral" when he meant unethical, means he is hard Christian. Not Christian light.
• You can rally around "us" and get rid of Trump.
• Putin chose Pence, & Putin knows Trump is going down.
