Let me tell you what I'm pretty sure happened.

4) This Dao dude, a rabid far leftist as is everyone at the ideological and journalistic Fallujah that the racist @nytimes has turned into, got approached by someone from Media Matters, ShareBlue, or some other even further left propaganda outfit with this anonymous op-ed.

5) They had to cover their asses as this couldn't ALL be done through an intermediary, so they had a fake 'discussion' in which they used some anonymous instant messenger, their 'intermediary' talked up who this guy was, and now they're hiding behind the shield of anonymity.

6) This sounds A LOT like Cohen's lawyer declining to comment for a CNN piece, AND THEN BEING THE ANONYMOUS SOURCE FOR THE CNN PIECE THAT TURNED OUT TO BE FAKE.

7) Congratulations, the racist @nytimes. You're sitting there on a mountainside with your journalistic ethics tied to a rock, God himself just showed up and told you, 'Dude, relax, I was just fucking with you, you don't need to sacrifice your ethics and morality'...
