For #ShadowhuntersCrafts weekend, I'm giving you a live step-by-step tutorial for one of the easiest but also most delicious cake recipes:

Blueberry white chocolate cheesecake!

So bare with me.

Step 1: pour a glass of wine

Disclaimer: non-alcoholic drinks for the underage please

Get your ingredients ready:
200g plain biscuits
100g unsalted butter
250ml cream (35% or more)
250g mascarpone
250g full fat cream cheese
250g blueberries
400g white chocolate

a 26cm cake tin
utensils for a waterbath

Take your cake tin put some baking paper on the bottom and butter the tin. Then set aside for now.

Put the biscuits in a freezer bag and smash them with a rolling pin.

Or do it like me: Apply a Strength rune and smash them with your hands

Melt the butter in a saucepan. Then put in the biscuit crumbs and mix.

Put the biscuit-butter-mix in your cake tin and press them down. Hands work best for this. Then cover with foil and put it in the fridge.

Boil some water with a kettle and put it in a saucepan or boil it in a saucepan then take it off the heat. Add the chocolate in small batches to another saucepan or a heatproof bowl and melt it over the hot water. Don't get water into the chocolate!

Put the cream, cream cheese and mascarpone in a bowl and mix with a (wooden) spoon or a handmixer until well combined.

(My poor neighbors. It's almost midnight and I'm using the mixer 😂)

Fold in the melted chocolate with a spoon or spatula until well combined. Then slowly fold in half of the blueberries (the rest are for decoration)

Take the cake tin out of the fridge and pour the cheesecake mix on your base. Then smooth it out or make little swirls with a spoon or spatula.

Decorate with the rest of the blueberries (it's really hard to write with blueberries hahah).

Then put back in the fridge for at least 2-3 hours but I recommend to leave it in there overnight.

Then you can get back to your wine or non-alcoholic beverage, which you totally forgot about during this whole process.
