I wholeheartedly agree that there is no place for homophobia in sport. I welcome your attempts to make (esp male) sports more inclusive of gay and bi people. 🖒
But... I played women's rugby for over 10 years. Is it fair to include male bodies?

And the many more male bodied people taking spaces in women's sports - to the detriment of women.

Yes it's inclusive. To men.

But you're going to be *excluding* women and girls from women's sports.

Maybe they won't see any point in trying. Maybe they won't want to play against male bodies. Maybe they won't want to change/shower with male bodies. Maybe they wanted to join a woman's sport to get some headspace from male behaviour and male bodies.

So well done for championing LGB inclusion in Sports.

But I think it unacceptable and unfair that once again trans people are lumped in with LGB issues.

Because in this case, women's sports, it seems fair that excluding trans women would be a proportionate measure to the aim of giving women and girls a space to safely do sports away from male bodies.

And any single individual or organisation who supports male bodied people playing competitive (especially contact!) sports with women and girls should feel entirely culpable when increasing numbers of women and girls receive injuries from playing male bodies.

For what it's worth I'd 100% support you setting up a trans sporting competition and would happily give money to watch trans people compete safely and in proper leagues.

Just not combined-sex leagues.
