I believe @RahulGandhi , being the blathering idiot that he is, has actually lost the advantage @INCIndia has in the #Rafale issue by speaking without thinking. #Thread
So far, #Rafale discussion has been about the cost to the nation. Although even that was all hot air and faff, as a confusion and misinformation tactic it was effective.
Although BJP could well explain the cost figure differences like that fact that the cost Congress keeps talking about was just a bargaining point and never agreed upon in a contract, it’s quite well known BJP has been ineffective in communicating this to the masses clearly.
While tweeters like @Iyervval and @SirJadeja explained the fitouts, add ons and weaponry that affect the costs, BJP government has been ineffective in communicating these- be it due to the requisite secrecy or inherent ineptitude.
All this meant that due to general public’s distance from the jargon and mumbo-jumbo of technical details of #Rafale, the cost was an effective misinformation campaign against @narendramodi in favor of @INCIndia
Now, by letting go of the cost narrative on #Rafale and bringing the #Ambani angle based on #Hollande statement, @RahulGandhi has hit his foot on the axe.
First, Hollande’s credibility: #Hollande is considered the worst president ever by the French. Yes, he was considered worse than Sarkozy by the French people. Sarkozy who allegedly received bribes from Gaddafi and has scandals in arms deal with Pakistan. theguardian.com/world/2013/oct…
#Hollande himself has been under the scanner for corruption, personal scandals etc and his finance minister was jailed for having a secret bank account and transactions in Singapore and Switzerland. france24.com/en/20180515-fr…
Cahuzac was #Hollande’s election campaign finances manager and then budget (finance) minister of France in Hollande regime. This guy is in jail for tax frauds and secret transactions in overseas illegal accounts. There goes Hollande’s credibility. france24.com/en/20180515-fr…
Cahuzac was in French Finance Minister position in 2012 when Hollande made official visit to India to meet ManMohan Singh to try and seal #Rafale deal. Within weeks of which Dassault announced joint venture with Reliance. Cahuzac was arrested in March 2013.
Now if you believe #Hollande saying it was India who insisted on Reliance of Ambani for the #Rafale deal, that would be Manmohan Singh faced but Sonia Gandhi owned UPA government of 2012, not Modi government. livemint.com/Companies/JZbw…
Feb 2013 #Hollande came to India on an official state visit, to discuss #Rafale among other things. Then MEA Salman Khurshid said ‘Too early for Paris to pop the champagne yet’.
What was Salman holding the deal up for? Supplier was chosen, prices were- if you believe Rahul- set!
Hollande came to ‘state visit’ with CEO of Dassault to meet Manmohan Singh to seal the deal that was being negotiated for over a year and Salman Khurshid- External Affairs Min said ‘Uh...uh...no!’?? Where were IAF, Defense ministry, finance ministry then? thelocal.fr/20130214/holla…
Then @INCIndia and @RahulGandhi ask why didn’t Modi let HAL make the #Rafale jets? In 2013 during UPA rule Dassault had shown explicit reservations towards HAL’s ability to deal with it. What did the UPA government do about it? reuters.com/article/us-ind…
If UPA government was told by Dassault that HAL isn’t up to the task of making #Rafale jets, did the UPA government take any steps towards changing that? Improving HAL’s capabilities? Or did they know in Feb 2013 that it won’t be their problem in another year??
In April 2013 Dassault said they won’t take responsibility for the #Rafale jets built by HAL. What would be the cost of not having manufacturer’s warranty on multi-Million dollar fighter jets? Do you buy kitchen blender without warranty? indiatoday.in/india/north/st…
Who would have a problem with India buying fighter jets from France? #Rafale are considered the best and latest in the sector.
Did Sonia Gandhi go to Moscow in April 2018 for getting Russia’s instructions about Jet deal?
The official line was, Sonia went to Moscow to inaugurate Indira Gandhi exhibition. In April. Why? Indira wasn’t born in April, didn’t die in April, didn’t take office in April. Why would an Indian PM’s memorial in Moscow not be in Embassy business??
Indian embassy in Russia has nothing about Sonia Gandhi visit in April 2018 which was apparently about Indira Gandhi exhibition. indianembassy-moscow.gov.in/index.php
Neither does the Russian embassy in India have anything about Sonia Gandhi’s Moscow visit for alleged Indira Gandhi exhibition in April 2018. rusembindia.com/home/photo-rep…
Wikileaks: When in 2005 Sonia Gandhi visited Moscow (When she has no official government position in India, mind you!) she may have received instructions from Putin about Sukhoi deal. Is she still taking instructions? wikileaks.org/plusd/cables/0…
So, effectively @RahulGandhi has exposed that:
- cost difference was a misinformation campaign about #Rafale
- Ambani, Reliance received favor of Dassault in UPA regime
- HAL was inept but they did nothing about it
- Salman Khurshid stalled Rafale deal for no explained reason..
Also, @RahulGandhi makes it quite apparent that Sonia Gandhi and Congress have been in some covert business with Russia in relation to India’s defense deals. They are trying to sell India’s interests even while in opposition. #End

Sonia Gandhi went to Moscow in April 2018. The excuse was ‘Indira Gandhi exhibition’.
The exhibition was by ‘Federal State Archives’. A Russian government Federal institute. Here’s the interesting part... economictimes.indiatimes.com/news/politics-…
Indira Gandhi was PM of India, and the exhibition was by a Federal body of Russia. Despite this, Indian embassy in Moscow or Russian embassy in India kept silent about this. There had to be some protocol about government contact, right?
Is that 'Thomson Reuters' survey saying India is the worse country for women being discussed in Indian media much? Its a pile of rubbish. Here's how. #Thread
First- the data didn't come out of any of the real parameters. This was completely 'Perception based poll'. Here is the methodology on their own website. poll2018.trust.org/methodology/
Worse than pseudoscience. #ThomsonReuters
For about a month, they sent questions to 759 'Journalists, Academics, NGO workers, Social commentators' out of which 548 (72%) responded. Even those who responded didn't respond to all the questions. Sampling and bias in sampling make #ThomsonReuters data worse than rubbish.
#Kathua twitter activity- how this is social media manipulation and trend management. #Thread
This is the last three months twitter activity of #Kathua hashtag. The crime was discovered and first arrest made on 19th January- so it takes in account the whole timeline. See when the interest peaked?
The Twitter activity started with This tweet according to keyhole.co analysis. The handle belongs to a journalist who works for @ThePrintIndia - which is run by @ShekharGupta#Kathua This was the kindling.
I checked the Twitter Trend statistics for #Kathua and found that it peaked interest late on 9th April 2018. The day @RahulGandhi ‘s farce of a fast was ridiculed.

This is the world map of #Kathua tweets on trend analysis. Interesting?
I’m not discrediting or denying your emotions and rage about the #Kathua case. You are right to feel angry, I feel much the same.
But what exactly are you angry about? Who are you letting use your anger?
#Rome
The seat of power for the Christianity.
Now let’s see this city in a slightly different light. #Thread
#Rome is a city engineered to display the ruins and destruction of the polytheist Romans and the victory and glory of the Christians.
The stark contrasts are not mere a product of time, they are a statement.
This is the #Pantheon
‘Temple of all Gods’. It predates Christ. The polytheist Romans worshipped Gods of forces of nature here. The central occulus- a hole in the ceiling- is the entry of all forces of nature inside. #Rome
