Modern Dive is πππ and probably one of the best "I NEED TO LEARN DATA SCIENCE IN R RIGHT MEOW" resources out there because it gets you up, running, and through the whole DS cycle pretty quickly.
PLUS there's a Slack-based online learning community dedicated to helping newbies get comfortable with the R4DS text. They'll answer your questions, support you in your journey, and provide you with the opportunity to give back! β€οΈ @R4DScommunity rfordatasci.com
Once you've worked through those two, @STAT545 is hands-down my favorite extension, because it's going to push you to develop better workflow habits, get into GitHub, and explore package development and Shiny.
