As previously mentioned there are clues here that point to a coverup.

1) Alleged attacker not arrested
2) Child initially forced back to mother
3) Gag order and censorship
4) Child mentions threat/sight of CP
5) Mention of drugs being administered to child

It is possible but unverified that the Frisco PD is corrupt.

I saw an allegation, unverified, that the alleged attacker of child is possibly a police informant, thus child sent back to home where he will be. Allegation that the Frisco police are trying to hide this.

Not all police officers are corrupt. Then again not all police precincts have an entire blog dedicated to exposing their corruption. (True, this one does not have many entries.)

When you are looking for trafficking you are looking for a system where there are secret deals between traffickers and dirty police officers, child protective services workers, lawyers, schools, doctors, and so on.

Why did the judge (Cynthia Wheless) order postings about the case removed? Was it truly to protect the child? Or to quiet the public outcry?

We are not only talking about Sophie but her 2 younger brothers also.

Craig Sawyer's (@CraigRSawyer) movie "ContraLand" was about young girls sold in "ordinary" looking houses by females who "take care of them". That is essentially the scenario in this case.

Human trafficking and illegal immigration are obviously linked. It's not just that undocumented individuals are raped and trafficked, it's that certain states make it possible to live under the radar, which is conducive to selling kids.
