We need to split up this "Millenials" group to differentiate between the younger parts of our generation and the older:

I suggest "Classic Millennials" for us born between '81 to '88

And "Modern Millennials" for those born between '89 and '96

You heard it here first!
For the record, I'm a "Classic Millennial" (born in '83)
Also, I refuse to use the "Classic Coke/New Coke" analogy to describe this new taxonomy (and so should you)

If y'all don't remember, New Coke was a disaster; therefore, comparing New Coke to Modern Millennials is an insult to Modern Millennials

Given how shit's hit the fan now that folks see clearly Jack's a neo-Nazi & Twitter caters to them (SIDENOTE: I've been telling y'all this shit for the longest; you should've listened)…

I see why lately I & my efforts with Speekin' are being tagged

Here's what you should know:
Speekin' hasn't disappeared; it's still up & running & still requires an invitation (that policy will never change)

I realize, however, that making a Twitter replacement, as well as replacements for YouTube (VueHub) & Instagram (Snaptastic), aren't enough

I can do more & better
I've stayed mum (and will continue to do so) on what I've been surrounding Speekin' & its siblings with, because fuck Jack, Zuckerberg, & every thieving-ass white male in silicon valley.

But I will say: taking advantage of their fuck-ups takes time to build, test, & debug.

Yesterday, a follower of mine posted these 2 tweets signal-boosting the Twitter replacement app (appreciate it, btw, @DinkyShop)

Now, read further down & pay close attention to the fuckery...
2. When I look in my notifications, I see previous examples like these of y’all liking and retweeting his posts

But scroll further down to see the fuckery revealed...
3. When you click the notifications for the detailed view, the posts themselves don’t show...as though they’ve been deleted

So earlier, I sent my sister a link to one of the posts and asked her to retweet it, just to see what happens

An Update for Current Speekin’ Members & Folks Anxious to Leave Twitter:

I’ll be devoting my 4th of July holiday working on the next Speekin’ update

This will be a minor update (aesthetics; extra minor features; bugs) until the next major release this winter

New invitations to join Speekin’ (and the Amplifyed platform as a whole) will be handed out

The process of choosing invitees will be HIGHLY selective & made by a handful of current members, myself included (keeping with the ‘slow & steady’ growth approach)

After successfully building rapport with a few international citizens, this round of Speekin’ invitations will include non-North American residents (New Zealand; Brazil; UK; etc.)
