4) Both Labour & Tories have played & are playing the same game, pushing to leave EU, prioritising an anti immigrant position over economy

5) and *both* Labour & Tories have been dragged to a more reasonable position by simple realities re #Brexit

6) the reality of #Brexit being this: the party that delivers the hard #brexit previously offered by both would be destroyed by its impacts

7) for all the "new kind of Politics" bullshit we've heard from Labour they've been deeply cynical, let Tories be destroyed by hard #brexit

But now that it looks like Tories may collapse, Labour do not want to be left with delivering it

9) it's welcome that Labour are softening on #Brexit, but for Thornberry to say they've been consistent is laughable
