House Republicans have passed tax legislation and the Senate now is considering a bill which a bipartisan analysis projects would immediately raise taxes for almost 14 million middle income Americans.

The proposed Senate plan would permanently reduce the corporate tax rate but allow cuts for households and individuals to expire.
To help fund tax cuts, Republicans have added a provision to their tax bill that would repeal the Affordable Care Act’s individual mandate, causing premiums for all to rise and 13 million fewer people to have health insurance within a decade.
