1/ RIOT - Russian Influence Ops on Twitter - data via #Hamilton68 dashboard.securingdemocracy.org - Here now a look back at activity from Monday to Wednesday.
2/ The story is short and sweet: Kremlin-oriented Twitter accounts joined in the last minute push to support Roy Moore in the Alabama US Senate race.
3/ We see this in the Top Topics of discussion, the Trending Domains, and the Top URLs.
4/ Looking more closely at the Top URLs/headlines, a significant amount of the amplified content could be interpreted as vaguely anti-Dem.
5/ If that was supposed to either discourage D voters or encourage R voters, it failed.
6/ Note the Sen. Schumer story makes an appearance in the list for Mon/Tues. The site (DailyPostFeed) is a genuine fake-news-for-profit operation, linked to guy in Macedonia.
7/ I assume they picked up the story elsewhere, but they clearly know their target audience

@page88 Okay, I finally found time to listen to the podcast. As your guest said, it's certainly possible Trump was a CHS, which is pretty much what I say too. So that's validating (for me). But that doesn't get us any closer to knowing if, in fact, people covered for Trump.
My own knowledge and experience with the CHS system is that it can be abused. It would take two agents and perhaps a Special Agent in Charge who at a minimum was willing to not look to closely.
The person at an FBI office most likely to notice something weird would be the accountant, and if Trump as a CHS was not being paid anything, that would take the accountant out of the picture.
