In light of Trump attempting to fire Mueller, I feel I need to say this: I will accept the findings of his investigation whether the condemn Trump or clears him.

If they damn him, I will scream to the heavens until my throat is raw that Trump is unfit, a traitor, unqualified and should be removed. But… /2

If for any reason Mueller absolves him, I will step it back. And fight for the things I care about and fight against the things I consider unjust, as I would any other President. /3

If Mueller finds no crime, I will not indulge in conspiracy theories. I will not retweet the sketchy. I will look at Trump as I looked at other Presidents who I did not support. /4

I think THAT is the pledge I can do that allows me to challenge partisanship. If Mueller is allowed to investigate, I accept it. Either way.,, /5

I do not fear his findings. I more fear an abandonment of facts. And those facts DO NOT need to line up with what I believe, want and hope. /6

It’s something I’d like my friends to think about. If… and I know you hate thinking about it… but IF Mueller can’t close the door on Trump, what next? /7

The choice is accept and fight policy, or amplify conspiratorial voices which I will not trade it.
I still believe the Truth will win out. /8

So this is my stance. As long as Mueller investigates, I will comment and await. BUT… but… /9

I am not vested in his results matching my politics. I am vested in the truth and I am invested in what I believe in. /10.

We should #ProtectMueller. We should watch it unfold. But if we are cheering for him to damn trump and he doesn’t, we should move on and #Resist the policies. /11

I want a truthful America, even if I disagree with it. I will fight for what I believe in regardless.
I think it’s a fair commitment.
