Vermont is great. I get to see my rep @PeterWelch at the dump quite often. Today we discussed migrant children crisis over the recycling. Welch reminded me unless we #flipthehouse we canāt pass @senmerkley S3084 or @dwstweets and @repbass bills on investigating detention centers
Welch listened to my Pediatric ICU experience on how we carefully weighed each child and double checked drug calculations with a 2nd RN before administration of meds to babies/kids. And that we had a detailed medical history, allergies, conditions and monitored for side effects.
Welch visited the detention centers in Texas with his friend @SenMerkley and was also forbidden was access. This horror will continue unless we keep yelling about it and making it impossible for members to continue on in peace. Are your senators cosponsors of S 3084 and S 2849?

Babies and toddlers require, REQUIRE love ā¤ļø to survive.

What keeps me up? Babies and toddlers and children being given heavy duty antipsychotic drugs without monitoring by licensed personnel. We all know they donāt have nurses caring for caged migrant babies.

I'm one of a few million Americans awake when we should be sleeping because of the pain of #cancer or some other chronic illness.
Adding to our sleeplessness is knowing #healthcare is under threat. We may not be able to afford it due to the #GOP's actions.

As a fmr immigration attorney let me be unambiguously clear. Crossing a boarder to claim asylum is *not* a crime; no under US or international law. Any child separated from a parent under that pretext is done so in direct contravention to the laws of the USA. ā THREAD Pls RT.
If you came to the US without permission to apply for asylum, youmetjod of entry, whether legal or illegal *should* in no way effect your application process. Illegal entry is not a ground of inadmissibility for asylum applicants.
